From my limited experience people check out your profile before even reading your message so get that sorted before you send a message.
Make sure that you have read their profile and attach relevant pics
Don't be upset if you get no reply. |

"How much does a polar bear weigh?
More at the pole than at the equator.....it's a gravity thing!"
I would say 'enough to break the ice' & that's how I open a message |

"May be am to nice but good morning how is your day going
Did you not do this thread last week? "
I also look at the profile first, if there are no public pics I'm not interested (even if they have attached one) Because it makes the profile look lazy. |

"But not ever one want people to no they r on fab it might be work or something "
I'm not saying it has to be your face, I'm sure your work colleagues do not see intimate parts of your body on a daily basis do they? ie chest, back physic etc |

Exactly I have plenty on mine, but my tattoos are never on show, most people at my work don't even know I have them never mind seen them, so they are plenty of pics you can post to pique interest |

"Not the same "
If you are talking about the title of your posts, it is the same thing, worded slightly differently. If you read back through the advice given on your first thread, the general consensus of opinion, is that you need to have an interesting profile with some pics on, otherwise the majority of people will just delete your message, without even reading it. Loads of single guys on here with great profiles and pics, these are the one's who are likely to get replies to their messages and I'm sure many of them will tell you, they still struggle getting replies. |

"OP Whatever you put in your opening message you are unlikely to get a reply because of your black shadow avatar.
Sally"
You are right Sally. This is what a lot of posters were advising him in his other thread...!! |

I suspect that you may be straying into dangerous territory here OP as I'm pretty sure we're not allowed to discuss the content of private messages in the forum, but I think Admin would be better place to clarify this.
Also, having read a number of threads and statuses over the years complaining of 'copy and paste' messages, I would gather that some may be of the opinion that using the same, generic message to everyone might fall into this category and might be interpreted by the recipient has having been sent by someone who hasn't read their profile. |

"Usually we just receive "hi" or "howz yous" ...not sure if this is much help."
Annoying isn't it? As a straight guy, you'd think gay guys would try and woo me with more than ''Hi'' |

Most of our messages are from people who don't read our profile! |

You may be surprised to read this, but us single guys also suffer from this, so it's not just the menfolk of fab who aren't reading profiles |

"What we all said in your identical post.
Ah yes, the all revealing Green Arrow wow i only just found it "
Yep, he's only posted twice on the forums and they are both exactly the same question within hours. |

I'm sorry I love the Welsh accent & im sure if I heard you say those words I'd melt, but aht messages inget like that f that just at hi get instantly deleted as I feel like the person is expecting me to start up a conversation
I'd rather they make some comment as to my profile and preferences
Another pet hate is 'I have good oral skills and want to lick your pussy' when my profile clearly states I don't enjoy that, it shows they haven't read our profile, so that's an instant delete too |

"It doesn't matter what a guy puts in his first message, nobody reads them anyway!
I'm sure they do, if they are looking for a single guy and he has a decent profile "
Yep we always read our message. Whether we reply or not is another matter. If anyone is rude or demeaning in any way we just ignore them

Another annoying one is when women message with a one word sentence. They tend to do the old "hi" as well because they think we'll try to fuck anything with a fanny.
Delete for no effort. |

This bugs the crap out of me to. It normally happens this time of night. I got one last weekend from a couple. |

Exactly. lt's basically saying ''l find you attractive but l can't be arsed putting any effort in because l think the man should do that and l'm lazy. Please wow me and make me laugh too''

Yawn!
One good morning to you maybe fine
Put yourself in the woman's place...
Do you want a whole inbox of nothing but
Morning how are you
Not saying it isn't polite but you have to make yourself stand out
