Beware! If you agree on a time and place to meet a girl like me, you may well find that one of the following will befall you:
- a relative or close friend will suddenly fall ill/be rushed into hospital/be diagnosed with cancer/have a heart attack/die
- a colleague will suffer one of the above and you'll have to cover
- you'll crash your car into another car or another car will crash into you
- your car will break down and need repaired
- your house will be in such a state of disrepair that you need to get decorators/builders in
- your work pattern will be changed at short notice
- unexpected and probably unwelcome visitors will arrive to stay with you
- your son/daughter will unexpectedly arrive home to stay
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Any of the above (and a few other things I can't call to mind at the moment) may happen if you say you'd like to meet a girl like me so think twice and very carefully before chatting and making arrangements.

It works both ways, my mate arranged to meet a tv at his hotel and she said she would call him when she was on the way, but he never heard a thing
I guess the tv could have had no signal or bad reception  |

Im not a TV but Ive had some brilliant bullshit excuses/no shows over the years from both genders. The best are those you organise a meet with, build up to it etc then they just simply dont turn up and ignore all future calls or contact

My son, aged 8 has suddenly turned up.
My boiler is being serviced.
After hours trying to get a date, you get a part address and only 10 minutes to get there and play.
I just block them, usually timewasters, jokers or no intention of ever meeting

No problem with people changing their mind as long as it's not 20 mins before they're due to meet. It takes a long time to get ready for a meet.
And stuff does happen but there are more dramas here than in crap soap operas! |

I'm beginning to think i have the psychic ability to cause harm by email.. quite a few tvs have.. been struck down with sudden illness or suffered broken bones after I've messaged them... it always seems to be around the time i ask for a mobile number to confirm the meet |

For my first meet I was so nervous. I sat outside the street in my car thinking of excuses and then realised if I really couldn't go through with it they deserved my honesty. Fortunately I manned up and had an exciting night!
Point being it is scary and unnerving at times but wrong to be a coward and not admit the truth. |

Believe it or not....real life events do actually happen that change things.
We've had the car breakdown
One of use got ill
Work changed
Dog needed vet treatment
Real life doesn't stop because you've arrange to meet someone. |

A couple from another part of town, about 15 mins away, contacted me on here late the other night.
After an exchange of phone calls and SMS they texted me around 3 am to say they were just on their way by taxi.
Around 5 am I went to bed.
My guess is that the lady wasn't as keen as the man. Or perhaps didn't even know what supposedly being arranged. |

Thats the issue, when its all just a game and there is zero intention to ever go through with a meet. There are people who have accounts on here who are actively discussing potential meets who [probably have partners and] have no intention of ever actually meeting anyone.
