Are you into spanking? Well then, we’ve got some bad news for you if you live in the UK – it’s due to be officially banned from use in all online pornography.
As reported by the Independent, the acts likely to be affected by a clause of the Digital Economy Bill, which was passed unopposed in the UK House of Commons this week, are as follows:
Aggressive whipping
Caning
Spanking
Role-playing as non-adults
Physical restraint
Humiliation
Water sports
Physical or verbal abuse, regardless of consent
Penetration by any object associated with violence
Female ejaculation
Strangulation
Face sitting
Fisting
Assuming the bill passes unopposed through the House of Lords, then pornographic perusers in the UK will probably not be able to access this type of content online. As pointed out by the Guardian, there is no definitive list, but these acts fall under the “obscene” brief. |

Yep, you haven't been able to have images porteaying any of these on Fab for the last year. I think it applies to sites based in the UK, if they are based overseas then the law doesn't apply to them. |

Grrrr this makes my blood boil. I really hope this doesn't get passed, it sets a very dangerous precedent. The internet had the illusion of a place of relative freedom... Welcome, dark net.
Who even made this list or thought up this idea? I genuinely cannot even imagine having such a mindset. It's probably the same kind of person who complains about soaps to OFCOM.
But yeah, I don't even watch most of these things but this is an infringement of civil liberties. Blanket banning is not the bloody answer. |

The act is essentially saying that the BBFC has to rate each professional pornographic video released online as they do through physical media. This means that anything the BBFC currently considers too extreme for classification will also apply to online videos too.
There are also some bits and pieces about robust age filters and giving ISPs a mandate to block access to sites without them.
The Guardian had a reasonable write-up of it last month, google "UK to censor online videos of 'non-conventional' sex acts".
There are also a lot of roleplay scenarios already banned in the UK under the heading of "extreme porn". See www.backlash.org.uk for further information. |

Started a thread similar to this last week.
https://fabswingers.com/forum/lounge/575035
There have been other threads too. The general consensus seems to be 'I don't like porn so I'm OK' or 'will somebody please think of the children'
Which is fair enough, but there is the feeling to me that we're all frogs bring slowly cooked. |

"No big deal to me. It's just photos and videos. I much rather do it in person. Someone will be losing money from it though. "
It's no big deal to me either. There are bigger things in the world to worry me than photos and videos. |

Ironic it only applies to porn as all those violent movies are fine of course and do no harm what so ever. A beautiful thing like intercourse is bad exposing children to violence is not Its quite MAD
PS I thought female ejaculation was a myth |

Just wondering, as soon as all these forms of porn are banned and the snoopers charter is rolled out. Or as soon as the snoopers charter comes into effect; how do employees who view or have viewed porn continue to work in those departments? If someone wants you out of their department I think there might be a quick exit meeting?? lol

"Death knell for queer pornography, and reinforcement of heteronormative behaviour.
What aspect of the 'ban' is worse for gay porn as opposed to heterosexual porn?"
Queer porn - not gay. I specifically said queer because I generally meant f/f porn and ftm porn.
Male ejaculation ok - female ejaculation banned. So it's ok to come in straight or gay porn, but not queer porn.
Face sitting - one of the dominant activities in queer porn. Banned.
Ethical porn (i.e. those with a strong queer, intersectional or feminist leaning) often celebrates activities such as spanking, bondage, humiliation, roleplaying, etc, because it doesn't involve penetration.
There's very limited acts you can do if you don't have penetration as an option. So this essentially makes it very, very hard to make good queer porn for the UK market. Thus creating another generation who think that a bloke banging away at a woman is really the primary (if not the only) option for both your bedtime fun and your porn. |

OK, understand. But:
Female ejaculation. I agree on inappropriateness of the 'ban' . But equally affects women in a heterosexual and bi relationship.
Face sitting. Same for any dom female, gay , bi, trans. But I think the 'ban' doesn't actually apply anyway, depends how 'non-consensual' it is.
BDSM porn exists for all sexualities and will be affected equally as harshly.
Also, in terms of sexual politics the ban will hit heterosexual forced and rape type porn. That has to be a massive positive?
I'd suggest people look on the BBFC and CPS websites for actual details, as opposed to hear-say.

It will hit queer porn disproportionately more than straight porn, which is the problem. With straight porn there are many, many more activities to choose from.
FWIW, I don't actually have a problem with fully consensual activities like rape porn. As long as it's legal and everyone is consensual then I don't see why it shouldn't be out there. |

There have been waves of bans in other countries, France and Scandinavian countries to name a couple plus in particular Northern Ireland, where spanking of any kind is illegal.
I suspect, (and I am being a but flippant here), that the British government banned acts it personally doesn't like or can't do. They are all wankers, so male ejaculation is in, but as misogynists, women shouldn't enjoy sex and certainly not ejaculate. Besides which, they are too damn lazy to find out how to do it properly, so rather than change that, ban it, then no wife may demand it from the MP of Much Groaning behind the woodpile.
That said, most were raised by nannies and then sent to public schools, where both Prefects and Masters battered lumps out of them on a daily basis, until they were old enough to do it to others themselves. So it was a bit of a shock to hear caning and spanking had become illegal sports. Personally fond of reddening a man's rear end |

There is absolutely no change in what porn is legal in the UK. This law is about what records the authorities can see and what the ISP must keep.
Porn is a side issue, as far as it now becomes possible to restrict access to only porn that is 'acceptable' to uk law. The BBFC is supposed to be governing that. |

The good thing is when the BBFC become responsible for online material overnight they will get shitloads of complaints & legal actions from porn producers who have paid over top fee's to the BBFC for years for nothing.
Tubes sites will be a thing of the past because the government will not want to get caught up in a political battle of its own making, only pay sites sanctioned by the BBFC will be allowed to operate doing away with free porn.
At least they have made changes from their orginal plans of banning anything sexual online but we are still the only democratic country in the world to censor our internet.

What I find odd is that most, if not all, of these activities are legal to do in person, or in a club or wherever but illegal to view on a computer.
Whereas illegal acts, robbing a bank, killing someone, and so on are covered in perfectly allowable films day in and day out. |

We would say you are right but we don't live in a free country & these censorships are only the start of whats to come...missing Europe already. |

This is all part of the "Snoopers Charter" every single persons phone and web activity is logged any porn viewed (of the catagories of Original post) or talk of drugs etc could land you a criminal record and a stay in prison. Frankie Boyle wrote a great article about it in the Gaurdian. Basically its big brother watching everything you do. Oh yes no swapping pics on kik etc either when it comes into force as you will get banged up for distribution of unsuitable images. |

All porn is under the scrutiny of the BBFC Pro & Am, sites can't operate without the all clear from them unless you are based overseas.
They done it has a measure to sting the adult industry mainly but its worked in reverse as all free stuff will be removed if uploaded from the UK so our battles with the pirates is half won due the kind BBFC lol. |

I don't have many strong veiws. But this is spot on.
It's backwards thinking the whole thing.
Look at some of the nonesense laws around the world. And this is right up there. |
