Just curious.

Everyone we have messaged we take time to read the profiles, yet 9 times out of 10 ours isn't read (we can tell).

So does it bother other people? Is it important?

I tend to look at the pics, if I like what I see then I have a read through, I'm not one for sending many messages though, things can get a bit GOOEY if ya do lol

Generally look at the pics first, then, if I find them attractive, I'll go back and read the profile

We always read profiles and check veris, i agree with the OP though so clear when people have either glanced or not bothered. I think if more took time to read profiles not as many would moan as much as they do when you say no. Xx

I read profile first to see if we want the same things and likes .Then I look at the pictures to see what the person s looks are like .If I like what I see I will sent them a message ....

Surely everyone will look at a few pics first & then move to the profile?

Or in the case of many, pics, message or wink. Lost count of the number of times we've got this from couples & thought "Holy shit, she's hot" only to contact them to be hit with "Sorry she doesn't play alone" or "Sorry, missed that in the profile". How exactly is it missed?? Its in big letters at the top..

Just woke up with four winks to check out, bet they are all as above..

I always look through the new pics and see if there is anybody who takes my fancy, however I always read the profile and attempt to put a decent message to send if I'm interested.

Pictures first, then read the profile.

It's amazing how many profiles say "no one liners" and nothing else, ironic really. No information about themselves.

Most messages i recieve are one liners from straight guys questioning my well being.

Yes, i am fine.

So i would say that most guys don't read the profiles. I used to take time to reply to all as i felt guilty, but now i just delete. I feel sorry for single women on here who must just get swamped with - how's you, want some fun?

Lots of singles on here seem unable to string a full sentence together.

I look at the avatar first, then profile text and following that the additional photos and veris. If the profile text doesn't interest me, regardless of how hot they may be visually, it's a bit of a turn off.

I do try and read them but some of them are painfully long, and usually full of a complete breakdown of the perfect person they require. You aren't gonna learn about me with a few paragraphs on a profile page, I'm a normal bloke like most are but on here you get judged furiously

I also check the veris to see if I'm better looking than what they've had before, if I am I definitely message. Still never get a reply!

Depends but we tend to start with the pictures, if we like what we see we move on to the looking for and interests section. If we fit their criteria then we will read the profile. In effect we read profiles from bottom to top perhaps fab could reorder the sections as I imagine most people do it this way.

If we like what we see we'll then have a good look at their profile to see if it survives our scrutiny process which mainly focuses around, will they turn up, lol, a few others considerations too. So yes, we read profiles.

Usually, I look at the statistics first (smoker, body type, straight/bi etc...) then look at the photo's, and then if I'm still interested I will read the profile.

We look at pictures first and if we like what we see we will check the veris to see if we move in the same circles. We will then read the profile.

Definitely start by seeing if there are any pics that pique my curiosity but then carefully read the profile to get a sense of the people. For me, a well written intriguing profile can make-up for weak pics.

I look at the photos and if they don't have any from at least this year that puts me off I will read the profile but when I get to I'm a "genuine guy" that puts me off "with a good sense of humour" put the profile is boring as hell and the same as everyone else's

Yeah mine is long and if you can't be arsed to read that's fine just don't bloody message me.

I always read the profile pictures can be very deceiving or mostly just close ups of genitalia.

Verifications can be handy but you never get any truly honest ones on show.

I always look at pictures first as there needs to be an initial attraction. If there is then profile reads are essential.

I checkout the pics if there's any, then read profile send messages if I think I match what they are looking for and still don't get any replies, but hey!! I always think if the profile holders have wrote something on their profile it's been wrote for a reason xx

we always read first then if we like the sound look at the pics. Both are important. Its frustrating when people font take the time to read but it does say something about them too

We/I look at pics first, then read the profile to see if we are relevant to their needs. I went through yours. A BMW and a Honda were with to put me off

Visuals are important but I always read profiles but for me that's not enough.. a conversation has to take place as it's about the person or persons and their mind that has to fit and a profile is just a gap in the door into that mind
