not for me..without chemistry of a particular sort, i wouldnt be a willing submissive...not any Dom can just come along and Dom me. So i stick to my original priority (for me)

Definitely trust. But he's got to be able to look at you and make you want to be his. If you're not driven mad with longing for him it'll be no more exciting than masturbation. I want to submit because he looks at me like I'm prey....

Trust and communication. Learned a lot about myself when I played with a Dom.

Trust is paramount depending on what you enjoy

Having only ever been in one, I found communication was the key for us. Open and honest communication at all times

All the answers are correct...If you say you trust someone 90% then it's not going to work.It needs to be 100%

I don't think there is 'a most important aspect' it's a form of relationship that needs a lot of different aspects to be there for it to work for any given people.

Trust, communication, complete honesty with yourself as well as your partner, chemistry, imagination, empathy, understanding, integrity, awareness of ones abilities and to a degree limits for one or the other.

All of those have to be there for a D/s relationship to work long term imho

Up on them there hills

I think holistically you cannot put your finger on one single aspect, to me it is a dynamic not a process.
