Hello!
I'd like to preface this by saying this thread is purely intended as an understanding tool and not as an attack or judgement 
Men who wear women's underwear as a kink / fetish. What is the main motivation for you for doing this? Is it part of a submission fantasy or is it more of an escapism / role play?
Is it a case of when you're wearing the underwear then you can indulge in sexual activities that your '9-5 self' would not? Is there a hanging up of your regular sexuality that occurs when you dress in lingerie?

I enjoy wearing stockings and thong as its something I can't do in everyday life. My only chance to wear is when my wife is away with the kids at her mums during school holidays. It also gives me chance to be a little slut too. |

I think you pretty much got it spot on for me - it's a kink, I feel super sexy with my attire on, I love the attention at clubs, I like the change from my usual "straight" alpha male side to my submissive bi cd side it's - just a completely different from of sex.
Plus my god when me and the gf are both dressed the sex really is amazing! It turns us both on hugely  |

Thanks for the comment! I find that really interesting! So when you dress up, are you dressing as a woman or just in women's lingerie? I think that's quite an important distinction to make in order to understand the kink, for me.
Does the lingerie serve to make you feel sexy and subservient or is it the act of role playing as a sexual woman?

I class myself as a cd, my line of thinking is a TV gets turned on by dressing / acting female, a TS being a person who feels they were born the wring sex.

I'm funny, I get a real kick out of wearing the lingerie! I also definitely have the nylon addiction which led to my cross dressing.
I feel more feminine so do act a little more feminine when wearing and I am definitely sub so do like to take the female role. The ultimate for me being a lady taking the man's role and wearing a strap on.
I have tried wigs and make up but it didn't feel quite right. Like I was pretending to be something I wasn't. Yet me having sex or walking around a club in women's underwear feels so right!

Got to admit, I don't understand it either. Apart from there not being adequate space for my dong in women's underwear (at least it looks like that would be the case), I just prefer the look of boxers or briefs |

I've been having this discussion with some female friends who are deep into women's rights and feminism. Their take on it is that men wearing women's underwear to be sexualy submissive is endemic of the patriarchy casting women as inferior. And that the only way that a man can feel the required level of submission and inferiority is to dress as a woman.
Now I don't necessarily agree with this perspective but it did strike me as something to explore. I don't think that all men who cross dress are sexist in that way. I think it's more a case that they're playing a character role of the 'sexualy submissive minx' that is in opposition to their 9-5 lifestyle. Much in the same way that fans will go to long lengths to dress up as their heroes to costume play (cosplay) them.
Again, this honestly isn't an attack on those who cross dress. Thanks again for your time

I can understand the feminists point of view, however for me it has absolutely nothing to do with society or social conditioning, or anything like that. It is purely from experimenting what feels good in the bedroom. I tried, I enjoyed and therefore it became part of me. There is nothing more to it |

Nothing more boring than 'man pants' or the dreaded 'boxers' that feel soo rough

I love wearing it, and Jane loves it when I''m wearing hers, especially if she's just taken them off, but I do have some of my own, that Jane has bought for me, and often wear it under my everyday clothes to work.
Jane loves it when I'm wearing it and the sex is more passionate somehow.
If I'm going to a meet on my own she likes to choose my underwear for me.
It makes me feel horny, but I think that is the anticipation of the fun to come rather than the feel of the underwear itself.

I wear thongs, I own male ones and some plain M&S womman's ones, either way they are far and away the most comfy undies I've ever had. They look daft but for comfort, can't beat them. I have tried knickers, they're comfier than men's pants but no much as thongs. |

Don't understand the point of boxers, no support or comfort, and I've tried them for a while. Trunks are nearly as uncomfy.
Briefs are ok but not nearly as comfy as thongs, male or female. As to space, my package is by no means small and there's plenty of room. |

In the interests of doing due diligence to my understanding, I tried on a pair of steph's pants (see latest pic). I can appreciate the comfort aspect as well as the bra effect they have on my butt I wasn't approaching it from a sexual gratification perspective so I didn't get that kink but maybe that's a step to take another day
