Our best friends of many years, moved abroad and then became swingers and got us thinking about it but other than them, no, no one knows.
My friend though, made the mistake of telling someone, who she then fell out with. This person then tried to befriend all her facebook friends and relatives and outed her and her husband!! Luckily most said "what the hell, we love you whatever you do in your private life" but it was a fraught couple of months for them. So it does make me very wary.

Most people we know are aware of what we do.
We've been open and honest about it for years and it's never caused any problems, lots of interest though,lol.
If the subject ever crops up and we're asked, then we're straight up about it.
The way we see it is this, there are always people ready to make up their own minds and blab about others if they get the chance, anyone thinking they can keep things secret will be very lucky to do so.
We'd just sooner friends etc found out from us, rather than be waiting for the hammer to fall, most likely at a family gathering or in a crowded place.

hubbis family know all and to my suprise the mother in law actually admitted to having dabbled in the past.
most of our friends that dont swing know aswell and we have never hidden the fact either.  |

I personally dont care, so yes most ppl i know, now we swing. As we are who we are and if they fall out with us over it, then they wasnt true freinds to begin with. Lie i say we are who we are not hurting anyone else. so sod them if they dont like it, we do xx |

That's the way we see it too, we would hate to have to hide a facet of our nature just to keep people as friends who aren't really friends at all.
True friends accept you for what you are.

Our close friends know and are fine with it and have some expressed interest but say they'd never be brave enough to do it themselves lol. Family, as far as i'm aware, don't know and I've no intention of telling them. Just hope none of them join this site and find us!  |
