So last night Mrs and I were chatting with another couple in a club. The conversation stopped and there was a period where we could make our excuses and leave ir suggest we go to a room.
I asked the Mrs if she would like to use a room, then asked the other couple if they would like to join us.
When they said yes I asked my OH if that was OK.
Just wanted to know if any others have a word you use to each other to signal that you are interested in playing or not.
Would have been very awkward if Mrs had said no. |

I'm not in a swinging couple but kind of assumed there would always be a secret otherwise indiscernible code word that flagged if people were interested or not?
Eg if in the conversation you started talking about hot chocolate it's a 'like' but if you start talking about shredded wheat it's a 'dislike' .. Something like that!? |

A knee squeeze was our signal if we liked another couple. It's odd picking code words, i mean, you could be chatting away to a couple, you can't just blurt out I really like hot chocolate! You'll look like nutters |

Shredded wheat.... kinky lol
But yeah, I guess I know what you mean. We don't have a code word or phrase for this sort of thing... but we do have a safe word if emotionally something is not feeling right. We've not been the best at communicating between us recently so been making a concerted effort at working on it.
