Personally I prefer a good read of a profile, tend to do it before even looking at the public photos.
It seems a common misconception that if you are a woman or couple on here you are fair game regardless of what's written. So why should they bother reading when a simple fancy a shag message from people outside your preferences will clearly make you fall to your knees with gratitude x |

"That everyone on here actually read profiles, would save so many pointless messages, anyone agree?"
Profiles. I'd rather read a label from a milk carton. Your not going to answer the message anyway. |

"I wish too,...Sick to death of the constant ( What are you looking for)???..
That really is a big clue that they haven't read the profile. "
Exactly! Just say what I want to save the waste of time lol xxx |

I've actually only messaged a handful of people, some the profiles are just too long and just a long list of demands and even worse when they feel the need to type parts in capitol letters for dramatic effect.
Just no fun to read and no fun to get to know so i pass. |

I'm more likely to respond to a message from someone who has demonstrably read my profile than otherwise. |

This is not my experience and I'm sure it isn't the experience of most men here. Whether I read a profile and tailor a messeage referring to it or not, the result is the same. |

I'm more likely to read a profile after speaking to you for a while. Your CV (profile) of full of all the stuff for everyone else. It's not tailered for me.
And with all those profiles (1000's)
It's an endless task to read them all.
*you know I'm saying all of this tongue in cheek. But it does ring true does t it!

Quite true. Why would you reply and chat to someone who's only demonstrated looking at a profile pic.
You'd have to be shallow. |

I couldn't care less tbh OP! I'd just like them to read it if we're going to meet so they know not to expect a 'perfect' body!
Right now I'd like someone to come and spoon me! No shag needed - just cuddles! |

No. I don't cold message men and therefore am unlikely to strike up a conversation with them. I'll only message men whose profile catches my eye.
Each to their own however. I am sure your method works for you. |

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else |
"What is the point in saying what you like if nobody reads it lol"
Because if you don't, they can't.
For many, that's part of their filtering / being unenticing strategy, but I really think that giving those who would read a profile nothing to "work with" is counter-productive - the non-readers will message anyway, so they're increasing the proportion of those to 100%.

My method is a guarded secret. But as a hint, it involves a pendulum and a sofa.
I don't cold message. I stay here in the forums. It's warmer |
