That's a totally ridiculous statement. Curvy women are no more or less attractive than slimmer women. Your preference may be for bigger women it does not make them more attractive.

I'm a big girl, I wouldn't meet any man who referred to me as a bbw ....I am a person in my own right irrespective of my build and I expect the men who want to spend time with me to recognise that. I resent being labelled because of my size or any other physical attribute!

I don't understand why you enjoy making bigger women feel inferior to slimmer women. Because that's how you come across. We are not inferior, we just carry a bit of extra weight. It's irrelevant whether you're right or not. But if you do believe that, and you do happen to be right, why not allow us to be appreciated by the minority, without pointing out that most find us undesirable to the majority?

I don't know... I was more talking about this specific site. I would still say that when I'm out and about, i see far more slim/athletic women than "bbw", it's just on here the bigger girls seem to outnumber the slim ones by about 20 to 1.

I'm sure it is, but no, bbw's definitely aren't the majority in my every day life. Maybe it's because I'm in London and a huge amount of the women I see are probably foreign. In Spain, Italy, the Balkans, etc, the diet is still healthy and they don't have "celebrities" telling them "fat is beautiful" via the TV every day,so they tend to be slimmer.

in london the average size of women as far as i can see, is pretty much the same as anywhere..very mixed,but over 16 is definitely as normal as anywhere else, and having lived in london for over 30 years with a huge variety of nationalities i dont see nationality making much of a difference..

Of course nationality makes a difference. It is only the English speaking Western countries that have all of a sudden decided that what was always considered conventionally attractive is now "fake" and overweight women are "real women" and "curvy". I have lived in Italy and Montenegro and in Montenegro I can't recall seeing a single overweight woman, they have a completely different culture, to them, it is better to be slim and athletic. You got big women in italy but they were mainly elderly, it didn't compare to here and that is due to a different diet, different lifestyle, better media role models, etc.

I must admit the term "real women" does seem to be used to describe overweight women and it's wrong. As is the term bbw in my opinion. It generalises too much. Not every fat woman is beautiful. Neither is every slim woman but there isn't a general term to describe all slim women as beautiful.
