Cant really see as if it makes a difference myself
Because if you use condoms then you use them and have nowt ta worry about as ta if the other person has gone bareback with anyone really
And as in all cases if ya dont likes what ya see or read ya simply move on from that profile and let them get on wi it xx  |

If I suspect someone plays bareback I ask them. They dont know whether I want it or not so have to choose. If they say yes then its a no thanks and block button from me. My choice. |

Isn't that potentially just as much of a problem? The fact that someone has been elevated from 'shag' to 'partner' doen't stop a person being at risk from unprotected sex. |

I certainly don't know anyone that uses condoms with a long term partner...
I on here do tend to play safe... but as we are poly, there can be another that we may chose to play without... but we are honest about that...
Thing is its been said before, most of us weigh up our personal risks, some don't use condoms for oral.. some won't swallow.. its personal risk.. unless you don't have sex at all, there is always a risk..
I just do what is right for us

Pics like that put me off if im honest
But at least it gives me the option to make an informed choice about people,I don't and will never know if the guy that I play safe with is barebacking a 100 others so all I can do is protect myself as best I can
I would be very naive if I thought that everyone used condoms all the time with every playmate that they have because that clearly is'nt the case |

There is indeed always a risk but the argument that as there is a small risk you may as well increase that risk doesnt really stand up to logic in my opinion. We all have our own ideas about what risk we find acceptable and the only issue seems to be the dishonesty which interferes with this. Each to their own, but be honest about it.... and.... never gonna happen! |

Does it matter.
Maybe on that occasion they decided against, or maybe they are happy with both condoms and without.
In the end, if you decide to meet them and they turn out and say actually we never use condoms, then you can always walk away.
If the possibility that they may not want safe sex is a turn off then that's fine, just don't meet.
In the end we all make decisions and take risks. The question is really whether you will take the risk? Not whether others do.
The point of condoms is to limit transmission not eliminate it. If they are barebackers on occasion then maybe that's too risky for you, but in the end if you use a condom then you protect yourself as best you can.
The only none risky sex is none at all. I suppose we could all be on the look out for untainted virgins, but in the end when you have sex you have sex with everyone who that person has ever had sex with and so on and so on.
Our meets have been in clubs so far, so we do not get to check the background, it's just the arrangement you make on that occasion. |

I wouldn't even go bareback with a girlfriend until we'd both been tested so theres no way I'd do it with a casual partner.
When meeting you know sex is on the cards so the "oops, I don't seem to have a condom with me" excuse doesn't really work. |

We are safe sex, but all our pics are bareback, but we have been together 13 years.
Ironically I do fuck my wife with a condom nowa days as we are not using birth control at the moment. |

There is a similar thread to this raising the question 'why are straight males saying wanting to meet TV and CD's' as it seems contradictory.
Its the same story, people put on their profiles what they 'think' they should put or what is fashionable such as, safe-sex, non-smoker, oh yeah and 'single' (that's a good'n).
As Soapy said, its simple, don't like what you see then move on.
