Hey everyone is is normal for people to add you on here without even so much as a conversation beforehand?

It happens frequently but easily ignored.

Unless you want to be mischievous. Wait till they're offline, accept it fab a couple of private pics then remove them from you friends list straight away.

Happens all the time, despite my saying in my profile that i won't accept them. I leave them sitting there, as they can't re-request whilst it's there. If they send me a message after a while asking why I haven't accepted it, they move off the friend request pending straight to the blocked list. Bit like Monopoly but without the 'get out of jail free' card.

I assume they want to see our friends only pictures. A good percentage will have no or few pictures of their own, we never accept their request.

It is normal to receive a friend request from someone you have never spoken to.

And it is normal to ignore the friend request and leave it sitting there so the twat can't send another.

I messaged someone once to say I don't accept friend requests from people I haven't spoken to. I was told I'm too fat anyway. I delete them en masse, once they build up, now. I had almost 100 at 1 time.

On here, it's a thing that happens.

Along with "straight" fellas messaging other straight men for meets.

People messaging "hi" and that's it!......But that's all stuff for a Thursday rant

How can you possibly befriend someone you have never even chatted with or spoken to. You wouldn't just go up to a random in a pub and say "Hi, you wanna be my friend" now would you?

I would say it's a common practice but not welcome, for some people.

I only add people I genuinely have interest meeting or I like their personality

I did that yesterday as the one pic made me want to see more. 2 secs later I deleted him once I saw his face !!

We have had 1 couple send friend request with no prior contact, when I send a message saying we like your profile but would like to exchange at least a few messages before we accept, the message is binned with no reply.

It happens all the time, they just want to see your friends only pics. I used to delete them but they just send another; now I leave them there and they can't. I only accept friend requests from people I have actually met or have been chatting to for a while and have built up a rapport.

Not sure why everyone gets their knickers in such a twist over people sending a friend request without speaking first?

People do it to us all the time.

Yes, some of the time they are ignored (particularly if the person doesn't have any private pics - I mean, why would we accept that?!) but there's no harm done, really.

I wouldn't say it's rude.

If someone sends a request, we like the look of them and then send a message, THEN they don't reply... that's rude.

We've sent a few in our time to be honest (apologies if it's upset anyone!)

Yeah, I periodically look through mine and accept those I'm actually chatting to, deleting the rest.

I assume they want to see my friends only pics, but if you want to see my boobs you have to put some effort in. Or at least ask nicely!

I totally ignore any friend requests if we haven't spoken. You know they only want to see photos. Think the fact they live hundreds if not thousands of miles away gives it away lol.
