Often referred to as an old perv, almost daily.
The problem I have is that the well meaning and derogatory insult I take as praise and I revel in it as I get on in years.
So the question is, if people insult you how do you deal with it and do you take a positive from the negative?

I look at it that they are sad individuals to throw insults. I find people try to knock others, to make themselves feel better.
The positive is I know I'm better then those type of people  |

Mr here...
I don't insult people as a rule.
Close friends however expect it. But, when it's between us it's banter. And that's all it is. We have boundaries and don't cross them, because we know each other well enough to know what's appropriate and what isn't. |

I agree with this ,
insults aimed my way I view as a defensive measure from those throwing them my way . I think the same when I'm confronted with passive aggression in messages its just someone with issues going all defensive for what ever reason being aggressive and trying to use aggression to try and cover up that fact . |

Quite often I've found insults to be fueled by a desire for a reaction. I couldn't really care less as am self aware of my flaws so I normally respond with humour.
