The last two weeks in here have been, let's say , interesting
My profile now CLEARLY says I've given up but still getting messages including one just now from someone who said something like ' do you find that fantasies and taboos get more extreme ' - I pressed him a little with a 'such as' and he gave me some examples of what he called the milder ones i.e. Forced , stranger, and a few others - I then said 'get to the point' ( he clearly hadn't read my profile) and he replied with 'get a book on being polite' and blocked me. He was CLEARLY going to build up to incest or animals. Weirdo

2 things :
1. FILTERS if you want to prevent unsolicited messages (unless you've spoken before of course)
2. You've made quite an assumption about where the conversation was going based on the limited info you've put here! You may well be right but the fact is it wasn't him that made any mention of incest or animals (as far as I can see) - you made that leap yourself! |

Yes actually that's a point , I've only just changed my profile , didn't know you could block like that although it wouldn't work if I wanted to keep in touch for those in clubs |

It's really that simple OP. You have the tools to stop messages, there's no point complaining if you don't use them and then get messages you don't want. |

There's nothing stopping you from messaging anybody. The filter won't apply to someone you message. |

But by your own admission he's listed out a whole string of taboos already. Maybe he'd run out of the list and by you saying 'get to the point' maybe he thought it was YOU that was putting pressure on him to cross a line he wasn't comfortable with and hence HE blocked you!

I can't see why you engaged in conversation with him in the first place to be honest .
But I would imagine he wondered that too before he blocked you . |

we get loads of messages from guys asking or offering things we don't like as stated on our profile,
its easy to catch them out as I just ask them if they like nice smooth pussy as we don't like smelly hairy ones, they always reply with oh yes love shaven cant stand hairy then we know they haven't read our profile,
we are both natural and hairy and its clearly stated on our profile |

So you engaged with this guy, pushed him (very bluntly and rather rudely) to go further than his pretty basic fantasy taboos, made assumptions that he would then hit you with illegal scenarios, and you're surprised he called you out and blocked you??

Well I havnt named him or put exact conversation ( apart from my own six words) and yes I KNOW I was curt - his conversation launched straight in - it was completely unsolicited and if you've read my profile which stands now as it would have done to him - I'm

so why are you even reading the messages in the first place from guys you have zero interest in?
Why not just block everyone?
If you want to keep in touch with people you've met at clubs and parties then why not just use kik etc.....

Yes I've done that , I was venting and his message came in when I was online so I answered it. It told me why I had written my new profile text, kinda confirmed it didn't it. I know some will think I'm just moaning but I'm actually a bit shocked at it all |

Ive had a thousand messages like this! If this one message has bothered you so much then I'm not sure fab is the right place for you :/ Just sounds like the majority of messages that most people get every single day. Not really understanding the "shock" youre feeling tbh..... |

OP, with such a poor profile, no pics etc. What type of messages do you expect? Quality breeds quality, put effort into your profile and you'll get a better quality of people messaging you. It's doesn't excuse ridiculous messages, but it doesn't help  |

My profile had pics and an amusing script and a lot more depth to the type of sexual encounters I excell at - ive actually noted that when I opened the profile with one line - then a couple of edits to much more ( was told it was too much ) then down to quite negative - the numbers of messages and subject was broadly the same . As in - it didn't seem to matter. I've had a few interesting conversations and there's a meet or two in the offing |

No you haven't named him but he'd know it was about him if he read it and that's just a train wreak waiting to happen, and I have seen it happen before
