how old is too old?

Jump to: Newest in thread

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

Age being subjective, in our little party group we have a couple who are 70 year olds, and another couple of friends of ours are 64 & 71 respectively.

We must add neither couple look their respective ages, nor dress like OAP, but would they be too old for this lifestyle in the eyes of some?

I tend to go for girls around my own age (28) but guys in late 30s early 40s.

However given that my dad is only 47...I think above that would be weird!

Some people have very fixed ideas on what age is too old or too young for swinging. I say since it's not mandatory to meet anybody that as long as someone is over 18 and not being coerced other people should mind their own business.

Yeah, I agree... anything around and above my parents age (60 plus) is a bit much for me!

But you don't have to meet people of our age.

My parents are early 60's and it surprises me that they have bus passes. No one is ever too old for this lifestyle. Ever!

Did you hear about the Polish couple who went to Fabric before it closed. I think they were late 80's!

I don't think anyone is too old, but that's the reason I don't meet above my age range of that makes sense.

I'm pretty sure that on here there is someone for everyone. I'd like to think I'll still be enjoying my body at 60+

I'm sure there are some who would think so. I don't give upper age limits any consideration.

I'm healthy, active and compared to some I see half my age, think I'm in reasonable shape. It's all to do with the individual surely and how we approach life in general... and of course personal preferences.

The only time I've wondered about my age is recently as I would like to give joining a club (chameleons or similar) a go and have asked myself the same question as the OP. How old? To old? So it's put me off applying at the moment.

I don't know about chams as I've never been, but I've seen guys around your age in other clubs

No-one is too old for this lifestyle, if it's what they enjoy.

If they are too old to engage in it with you is a matter of personal choice.

It isn't, we're all good friends and it isn't a question of 'engagement'

After all they're not that much older than us.

However, within our Merry party band there have been rumblings that both couples are now too old to participate.

That said both visit clubs without any issues.

I like to think- and have been told- that I have a youthful attitude to life ( could just be immature!).

But I eat healthily, get plenty of exercise, refuse to watch reality tv...what's not to like!

I also think that there's a tacit belief that people stop being sexual after a certain age which is incorrect. I think it's a shame that we even need to ask the question but at the same time I think it's good it has been asked to open up discussion.

Well yes of course it will be in the eyes of some. It's like any other demographic her on fab there will be people that are keen and there will be others that aren't.

Does that mean that they shouldn't be playing, of course not. If they enjoy it and still find people that want to meet them then that is fantastic.

Actually it's rather an encouraging thought, as that age is rappedly approaching;-)

Thanks Kianna. Nice to get s bit of feedback on this, gives me a bit of encouragement that I'm not going to look completely out of place in a Club maybe. Oh, just like to say you have a nice profile while I'm at it ... made me smile anyway.

While i accept people have preferences, i am not really attracted to TVs.

It really depends on the person. You could have a 30 year old who is if no interest and a 70 year old woman who is hot as hell!

Artificial boundies are just walls.

If its not your thing then thats fine. But trying new things is part of what makes this fun.

It's truly down to everyone on an individual basis . Some will not find over 70's engaging in sexual games appealing at all , whereas others would find it incredibly horny .

From the perspective of clubs and playing in open rooms , the latter would love it , and those who don't can just look elsewhere .

Well said, you wouldn't know tbh that the 70 y/o couple were that age, possibly might think late 50's (like me) or early 60's.

The 71 y/o from the other col does look his age, that said all four play tennis mountain bike and horse ride so I guess that's keeping them young.

I really like the idea of playing with an older couple. Age is not an issue with me, as long as we all get on and enjoy the experience I am happy.
