I've had that on occasion but it's not a thing that bothers me. I figure they're just in the closet a bit or trying to tailor a profile that in their opinion will attract more women or couples or whatever.

I think a lot of this is bi men refusing to admit to being bi, but are only convincing themselves that they are straight. Some of the things I've heard of are comical. I only do oral, so I'm straight is just one of them.
I get a lot of these messages and I think a lot of them see my profile pic but nothing else then assume I'm a woman dressed in a black lace negligee 24/7.

I agree, it's not straight men that's the issue.
It's Bi men refusing to admit on their profile that they are Bi for fear of alienating themselves from a lot of couples and women who won't play with Bi guys so claim to be straight. |

Not really. Bi-curious and bi-playful are completely different. Bi-curious implies that you haven't tried it enough to be decided on your preference. Bi-playful is that in a certain situation when the mood is right you'll cross the gender line. The rest of the time you're effectively straight.
