Same, 5 for me but then I check pretty much hourly. If I didn't check for a week then I'm sure I could better that. |

Ours runs at 0-2 most of the time, which makes it so nice to receive them when they come.Especially if they make first contact & you think "Holy Shit" when checking their profile.....and then you see they don't play alone & are a couple 
But one or two gems do

One my Single Male profile I once woke up to ^ messages,
1 saying the money for my membership had been taken
1 saying thank you for becoming a site gold member
1 saying I had a 24 hour "Chat" ban
3 no thank you's
I partied like a rock star  |

17 - but most in response to a Forum game rather than anything else.
One day I woke up to 3 messages, 2 from single women and 1 from a couple that were 'new' people contacting me. In over 2 years that's my record - a day etched in history!
I even met one of them eventually too |

No more than 5 for me. I go into a flat spin if it is ever over 3. I think omg whats gone wrong.
It would be interesting to know what the record is for a hot single woman on here. |

As I'm an average married woman I can get around 30-40 messages a day depending on if I've posted a pic can imagine a hot single woman gets 100+ a day more if she's on page 1 on the hot pics. |

Completely true ...
I'd be more than happy to get a single *decent* message a day instead of 10s or 100s which all turn out to be crap (offensive and/or two words and/or irrelevant to my profile and/or of the scatter gun variety and/or impersonal cut and paste rubbish). When you think about it the only difference between 2 crap messages and 100 crap messages is that the recipient of the 100 wastes a lot more of their time dealing with them ...  |

I think it was about 7 or 8. Quite a buzz seeing all those messages in my inbox.
Anytime you have more than one message in your inbox is always a thrill. My god, that is quite sad when you think about it. |

If we're only talking about pro-active messages from women/MF couples whom I've never interacted with before, then my record is two and that's only ever happened twice in the couple of years I've been on fab.
