"Slut", "Whore" - Why?

What is all this abusive terminology about? It seemes so pervasive across this site and others and am I on my own in disliking it - a lot?

I have met some delightful people from the swinging community over the years and why would I use insulting language to describe someone with whom I have just shared a delightful, sexy, intimate experience? What's more, I'd probably like to meet them again!

"Does not compute" as the Daleks used to say - well, not for me anyway.

It takes all types Bro. I used to see a couple and for 99% of their lives they are the bastions of middle England. The 1% they delve into has all sorts of thrown into the mix including the lady being called lots of names we would all term derogatory. It just their thing!

Yes! It was the robot in "lost in Space" that I remember it from! Shows my age that! Not the Daleks at all, I must exterminate such inaccuracies!

I agree with those who say "it takes all sorst" and, of course, no judgement implied! I suppose I was wondering if I was in a small minority in finding it a real turn off

I understand the name calling and im rather partial to it in certain scenarios, with select people. It can be a massive turn on for me.

However, I would object to being called derogatory names while out in public. That is something entirely different.

I wouldn't consider using it on every meet at all, especially not anything more than a one on one situation, unless the other people requested it.

There needs to be a lot of respect and understanding of the context that "naughty words" are used or it can come across extremely wrong.

I still feel uncomfortable to a degree hearing and using the words as I say them to someone who has usually referred to themselves as slut, whore, etc and wants to be told that's what they are and they seem to get off on it which is fine at the time. I would never take it for granted though that everyone you meet likes it and I certainly wouldn't use such terms in the vanilla world we mostly live in.

Reply privately, Reply in forum +quote or View forums list

By (user no longer on site)  over a year ago

Two things to bear in mind here

1 - the derigatory value you place on a word or name comes from the 'vanilla' world you live in. Where I live, words like 'twat', 'dickhead', 'wanker' etc are commonly used as friendly banter. So for me, it's not difficult to see the meaning of a word as being derived more from its context than its dictionary definition.

2 - G calls me 'his good / bad / dirty / naughty whore' and I love it. It's part of the game, but it's also very intimate - I'm his whore, I'm a whore for him & him alone and whilst it's kept in the bedroom during play, we use it day to day as a kind of 'in joke' that adds to the intimacy. We play online scrabble with each other while we are not together & earlier this week I played the word 'whore', which he discovered while at work! He also calls me his 'good / bad kitten' which has the same connotation for me.

I guess the answer to your question is that it's entirely down to the context and the meaning the words have for the person saying & hearing them

M x

We enjoy the use of the English language as it can so accurately convey the intentions of the user. However, I have worked in the Construction Industry all my life, where foul language is the "working language". I do not use it once I have left site and certainly not at home. There so many other words that can be used to convey your feelings.

People that claim that "words are just words" are missing the point. Words accurately display feelings.

Derogatory or abuse terms do nothing for us.

So up your chuff you cock sucking slut!

Op there just words that can be used by those who find such words used at the right time a turn on to help push them over the edge .

So with that being the case would you not embrace such words and use them with those you know find such words a real mental boost that can push them over the edge, as part of trying to give a great sexual experience and time to your play partner at the time .

That's how I view such words they are a mental aid to the physical play to those who find such terms a turn on .so as a guy who wants to deliver a great sexual experience to all I find interesting enough to share my bed with. I will gladly use such words and more besides to make sure my play partners are fully turn on and having a great memorable sexual experience because to not do so would be very selfish of me in my opinion .
