I am not in any clique, but I do notice that some people refer to my past posts ... so I think they check for themselves. I dont remember .... or use the green arrow. I do notice whose posts I like though .... as people who seem sensible and not too sensitive. People tend to post on similar threads I think, either politics or frivolous ones ..

No, we all get alerts sent by the site when certain words are mentioned in a forum thread. If we don't respond on the thread with the 'clique approved' comments within a certain timeframe we risk losing our membership.

the clique is a total myth..i have met loads of forumites, we know each other, some of us have played with each other..we say hi to each other, as more than likely we get on...those who have met, do tend to want to catch up...i often host threads to say hi to people i know off of here and see how they are. thing is, some people actually make friends on this site..despite what some people say in that its a 'sex site'..its a 'swingers' site and the social scene is very popular. not everyone here fucks and goes (some do, which is fine) some dont bother coming out to meet anyone (which is their choice) however, most people i know wouldn't ignore people they know and like, when they see each other..so conversation forms..

basically, if you don't like it or understand it..go find some friends, then you can chat and be pointed at and made out to be some 'elitist prick'..i dont mind what people call me. those that know me matter, the rest..dont.

There's no bloody clique, there's bods that talk a lot & because of this they tend to migrate with others that talk a lot that seem to agree with most of what they are saying or are non-confrontational..most peeps have enough of that outside Fab so just want an easy sexy life on here.

I am a thread killer, you can't take that from me. I do get the idea that loads of people from forums meet uo etc, but why the need to go on and on about it on the forums ... that makes people feel excluded, obviously. Its often a mutual back patting thread ... I guess for me its about discussion, not about showing someone who my friends are or living my swinging life in public. Different strokes for differential rent folks "
i have to say i am one of the most inclusive people on here, on the threads i host, what others do, i have no control over and neither would i wish to..i put a lot of effort, into what time i spend here and i organise a lot for others..including socials and presocial veri meets for newbies etc..no, its not attention for me..i have all my filters on..i do it cos i like people to feel included if they want to, however, being arsey,trolling or being obnoxious for the sake of it, doesn't get you anywhere with me, i just play back, on the rest of the forums, cos im in the mood to play..but not on my threads, they are always pleasant and as i host, everyone gets responded to..

I do get the idea that loads of people from forums meet uo etc, but why the need to go on and on about it on the forums ... that makes people feel excluded, obviously. Yes people meet up, it's allowed and, in fact, is what Fab is about.

Yes people talk about great times they've had meeting good people from the forum. It's allowed.

People even make real friends with others from the forum, that's allowed too.

Positive people tend not to want to meet or chat much with negative people. That's just common sense

there is no clique chap; just people that get along; mostly those people post fairly light-hearted (dare I say inane) mushy, squishy, light-hearted stuff; people respond to one another's positivity and friendships/meets build out of that. Occasionally there is a deeper post and people will either avoid or go balls deep, new friendships are won and lost but the forums go on....

You seem obsessed by the fact there is a clique that you either can't or won't enter, by this act you start posts about it and anyone of the regular posters that tries to offer a different opinion, is branded as being in the clique and disregarded; this will get peoples backs up; as any comment to the contrary of what you post is deemed clique 'y'

It can appear cliquey at times but that's like any forum online where there's a group of people who have shared interests and likes. I don't think it's fair to say that anybody who disagrees must be in 'the clique'. There are some threads which appear to be circle jerking and others with a more aggressive tone but certain threads will always attract the same people. I'm not sure that's a clique though. Meh.

But when attempting to befriend people by trying to get involved in their threads gets ignored

It's inpleasant

So do what the rest of us do and ignore the cliquey threads. I love being ignored. No one comments on my sly comments. ..It's great

It can feel very cliquey on here at times. Back in the summer 'in' jokes about cake, cookies & -all things fluffy made me feel like an outside & I didn't like it.

But I kept on being true to myself & posting, like most things in life it's short lived easily replaced & is more on an even keel now.
