That's me

You'll love it. It's al about dressing up dancing, and being an exhibitionist ...all at the same time. Expect over 1000 people. Make an effort and you'll soon find that because no expects anything from you, the crowd is a lot more friendly than a swinger crowd.

I find the smaller venues ie Brighton much friendlier than the London events.

Torture Gardens are fantastic events but they are primarily dress up events as opposed to kink events. Don't get me wrong, there is plenty of kink (my first event a Mistress put me in charge of her pet for an hour), but it isn't the main focus.

They are so much fun even if it just for the people events.

2400 people attend TG at the coronet, it's a full on fancy dress party really. Couples room is fun as is the balcony, lots of public shagging going on if you time it right !

I personally enjoy the 'Not New Year's Eve' TG at the ministry of sound, smaller venue and seems a better crowd and a bigger couples room !

Yes. The Ministry of Sound venue is in London. I will only attend a TG event at The Coronet. That's because they have their own door team at events. The Coronet door team are disgusting. But the venue is great.

We are regulars at the Edinburgh event, and it is always a great night out but we suspect that it is nothing compared to the London ones.

We are going to Edinburgh next month and hoping to catch up with some kinky fab and fet friends.

TG is fantastic, it's all about the outfits so dress up as outrageously as you can. We go to the Coronet, live that venue.

There is a couples room which gets very busy, lots of gay men enjoying themselves in there, I didn't really notice a vast amount of kink outside of that room.

It's all about the clothes, make up and outrageous exhibitionism, which is why I love it

The Edinburgh event really interests us. Am I right in thinking it's less about play and more about a fun night out?

The play area is relatively small and the Scottish laws preclude a lot of sexual play. To us it is more of a fun club night out with some fabulous outfits and a non judgemental open crowd.

We love TG.

Totally agree with other posters, you should dress to impress!

It is such good fun and we always find it a very friendly crowd.

No need to be scared or frightened about anything for that reason, the people are lovely.

You will find open playing in the couples room, as previous posters have said you will also see some gay/TV action too, so if that offends you stay away. (Although if that sort of thing DOES offend, you're probably not the right sort of person for TG full stop!) and also SOME more discrete playing on the balcony.

The costumes and outfits are incredible, it's almost worth it to pay the money and sit and people watch!

The only thing we don't like, is that We absolutely HATE the music that's played there but the rest of it makes up for it!

Please feel free to PM for any other info, we'd love to help.

Also, we had two tickets for next Saturday and as Alice has broken her foot we can't go, so if anybody is interested, please drop us a line!

Xxx

I would be banned fir calling it a fancy dress party!

We do find the Halloween parties are just that though, it appears many who go are not regular and find out its the most outrageous party available.

Ministry of Sound Not New Years Eve last year was a brilliant night, apart from the cost of the drinks! £12 fir a can of beer and a spirit and mixer!

I do love Electrowerks but only been once as we find it too much effort to go on a friday, we like a relax day in London to go kinky shopping before TG in the evening.

Hahaha... thanks.

Well, it's just a really bad mix of industrial EDM stuff. Just horrible.

I mean, we really like house, disco even a bit of techno or tech house but find this stuff ear-bleedingly bad and cheesy.

But it seriously doesn't put us off going!!!
