people who dont actually read the profile first

Hi...now I'm no saint...ive looked at a profile's pics first many many times BUT...before I do anything else i actually check a few things...age range, is the girl Bi? ( for the Mrs benefit) distance...( can't be doing starting a conversation that would hopefully lead to a meet only to find out they live 480 miles away in another country...( irland)..... And then the actual profile...hoping that it might give us some clues as to what kind of people they are...
Is it really too much trouble for soo many people( men and women) to take the time to actually read our profile??? It's not as if its a book...tho I think this post is turning into one...lol...anyone else feeling a bit fed up with time wasting morons that see a pretty picture and automatically send a mail,or a wink,or worse a friggin friends request..HELLO....earth to moron...not even spoken to us yet and you want to be friends?? Fuck off...sorry about that...got a bit carried away...but you get my point??? |

I always read a profile before messaging, often i like the look of someone but then read the profile and decide they arent for me, i dont get how people can want to meet someone off just a picture. Need to know more than just looks, whats the point in messaging someone when you haven't look to see what they want or looking for? |

We always read the profile, it's just difficult what to do first though, look at pictures or read the profile.
If we read the profile and think great , they're our kind of people, then look at the pictures and not be attracted it can be dissapointing.
If we look at the pictures first, think they are really hot, then read the profile and find out they're not what we're looking for, or we're not what they are looking for I think that can be more dissapointing. |

We have a "please put "......." As message heading so we know you have read our profile towards end of ours.
No key word. Immediate delete without opening.
Saves so much time. |

We used to do that, but gave up to be honest as it was still ignored.
Also it became apparent without doing that if someone had read our profile, and a lot of people learned to scan the profile just to find the key word to use it.
Additionally we felt if we have to prompt people to read our profile, then we didn't want to meet them anyway  |

Yep and as we have single guys blocked its couples, 3 yesterday & 2 already today. Not one of them fits our profile & we put it down to exactly what you say, male looking at pretty pics or a forum post takes their fancy & they just send a wink/friend request without reading the profile..

We hear you OP our profile is quite specific with our requests and it's not even very long, yet people still can't be arsed to read it. I think out of the last 100 messages we have had only about 4/5 that have match what we are happy doing  |

Well at least we aren't alone and hopefully we can all see the funny side of it...yes its annoying sometimes but like so many have said ..points out those we probably wouldn't get on with anyway ... |
