This is why it's good to go to meet someone new with a social head on... then there's no expectations.
It isn't wrong to not want to take it further and as long as you were polite then no harm done.
If you have messaged her privately and said sorry you don't feel you'd meet again and she asked whybrid you could mention it.
But tbh it's happened. Learn from it and move on

I think you're maybe being a bit hard on the OP! It's a difficult thing telling someone they smell - I don't think I would've been able to.
Also, maybe he's posting it on here as he doesn't have others to talk to. It's not as though he's named his meet! |

I'm not a rude or nasty person but if somebody dared to turn up to meet me unwashed and smelly and expected me to get upclose and personal with them knowing they hadn't washed first I'd have no problem telling them they smell
If you don't wash you smell surely you shouldn't even need telling that, it just smacks no pride in yourself to me |

I went to a restaurant today and ordered fish and chips. When the meal came out the fish was a bit smelly so I left it an walked out.

Depends on how you extracted yourself from the situation. I wouldn't expect anyone to play with someone who smelt offensive but how you communicate or make your excuses says more about if you look good or bad. I would say though if she reads this then its probably going to upset her and its a bit crass of you to put a thread up about it and stipulating today so its obvious who it was. |

Depends how bad the smell is really doesnt it.
There are limits; good to go, a bit whiffy so no oral, and outright putrid so no play at all.
I have encountered one or two of the latter category, i usually make some excuse about having just gone through a bad breakup or some shit. |

This^^^ I'd probably make my excuses and leave, without telling them the real reason too. It's a little difficult telling someone you know that they smell, let alone a stranger. The woman is off another site, so unlikely to see this thread. The OP is obviously feeling a little guilty, and wants a little bit of reassurance that he was not wrong in making his excuses and leaving before play. You were not wrong OP. If you didn't want to play, you shouldn't. Telling her you left because you had a work thing, was much kinder than telling her she smelt. She may still be mortified now, if you admitted that little doozy on a first meet. |

A friend said to a woman who has the most evil breath that he had bought a double pack of mouthwash but had switched to another so would she like the unopened bottle.
