My wife and I practise mindfulness and it suddenly came to me the other day that we could encourage its use eg when subbing so that you check with them the quality of their experience as they enter and enhance sub space. Maybe even get them to track their thoughts and distracting thoughts and sensations and allow those to dissipate
We both do Kundalini yoga and there are parallels between subspace and the sheer torture of the kriyas ( tailored "mission impossible" repetitive very strong movements that are quasi painful but safe. They push your tolerance of acute sensations -like 200 double leg raises with 30 degrees between legs-awesome
Anyway we thought there was interesting potential for us as couple amnd maybe for play here
