Why is it the womenfolk dye their hair blonde under the assumption that blondes look hotter. Let's take a poll to see if it's true. Who are hotter blondes or brunettes. |

k was red head when i left house one day and blonde with blue streaks when returned .we had sex in morn before i left and sex again when got back to see if it was better with a blond [thats what i told her any way ha ha] |

In all fairness that's an opinion of 1. Surely that is up to the public in general. It's not like we can just walk up to you on the street and say, you look great as a blonde but we suspect you'd look better as a brunette. You'd probably punch us in the face....and rightly so |

When I was younger yes I looked good as a brunette, the older I've become though it doesn't suit my skin tone, dark hair can be draining especially with the grey onslaught.
Therefore a combination of blonde / brown (balayage) has lightened up my appearance & I look better.

I've been both and most people say I look better as a blonde, and I definately get more attention as a blonde. I look very pale and 'washed out' with dark hair. Hubby prefers brunettes, but prefers me blonde. I don't mind what hair colour men have. |

See now, I'm very pale, and quite like the contrast of the pale skin against the dark hair. I suppose it depends on the skins overtones though perhaps, because I've never been told I look washed out, or looked on the mirror and thought that I did |

Arh now you have a different type of pale skin. Sort of 'brighter' pale. Mine is 'washed out'. It's hard to explain, but some pale complexion people do look great with dark hair. |

I've always had black hair, you just can't dye it I tried when I was young but nothing takes, I don't think I'd suit blonde anyway I'm originally from Sicily so quite dark skinned |

Apparently when you hit a certain age, dying your hair lighter can make you look younger, as another poster has said.
You can't make a blanket comparison I think, as different colours suit different people. |

Brunette suits me. I am too florid amongst my general paleness for red hair despite my freckles and me blonde is frankly terrifying. I once put a blonde wig on and answered the door to a mate who recoiled in horror with "what the fuck have you done to your hair?!". In other people I have no preference, although I have slept with more dark haired (including grey touches) people than any other hair colour. That's pure stats rather than an actual choice though. |

Its the complete package for me, not what colour their hair is, some suit blonde, some suit brunette and redheads deserve a mention too, there are some hot redheads out there |
