I never read veris to be honest so it doesn't really bother me. They're usually a load of old rubbish bigging the person up to get another shag anyway! |

I disagree, A verification should be just that, to verify that person is genuine, I hate reading descriptions of things that have happened on the meet, and other bollox too, makes me cringe. Templar |

Why does it matter what they write ? All it has to say is they're genuine, turned up and were who they claim to be on their profile. I like to make my own mind up about people, not go on what a total stranger has said about them anyway. |

I don't display any of mine, so people can write what they like because it's only me that will ever see them. I'm not particularly good at writing them for others, because I'm terrible at giving compliments, and that's all a verification really is. If the people I met were right cunts I'd probably find it easy but they're all lovely |

Nope, no-one has ever written either of those things about me. Not that verifications matter a jot anyway. Other than to say turned up, looks like the person in the photos, acts like the person I've been talking to so job's a good 'un. |

It seems that, no matter what people write in them, it's wrong. They're either too graphic, too gushing, too cliché or its lamppost pissing.
So, we generally hide ours to avoid upsetting people. That apparently, makes us fake, you just can't win.

But I don't think it should be inferred that if someone doesn't show them they're not happy with them, which is an assumption often made about the fact I hide mine. |
