Hot photos - can newbies not get on it?

hello
A friend of mine set up a profile within the last 12 hours. She has a pic which has over 150 fabs - and she's verified if that matters - but it hasn't showed up on hot photos.
Does anyone know why that is?

'Most Fab'd' pics are normally ones that are pushed by advertising the fact through forums with threads like "look at my new hot pic".
We don't look at them, many don't so don't worry about it. |

Not always the case, we get on hot couples pics page one almost everytime we put up a pic- we don't go "advertising"
Op woman's hot pics you need lots more than couples but 150 should get her on some of the bottom pages, think I got to page 4 with 250 X |

Your profile has to be at least a week old before they appear. We set up a new profile for Vik on her own to help her find prey... uhh.. I mean.. .guys. And as 'fresh meat' her profile pics got fabbed loads, but didn't show up in top pics as the profile we less than a week old.
As for pushing pics... it is often in status updates or when camming on chat e.g. 'fab my pics if you want to see more' etc.

It's 5 days. Mine should have been on the hot pics too. But a new one didn't show until the 5th day. I hope that helps  |

I've never done that, or anything like it. I have two friends, and I'm not a newbie. But I've still made page one and top fab one month, before I deleted my then profile, so it's a bit irritating that people may think it's because I pushed for it. |

Probably not. Again, generally about numbers. I mean to be frank guys will fab pretty much any single woman's pics. I'm not putting down those on the top list, most really are stunning pics. But sometimes you do look at some that whilst very attractive are little more than a passport photo. I do look at some pics wondering what it was about that specific pic that was so appealing to so many.
For couples or single guys... even if it is a couple profile with a hot pic of the women it is much less likely to get as many fabs as there are just so many guys looking only at single female pics.
We've been on page 1 a few times with pics, and at one point were the highest rated couple pic for a week or so. But now that Vik has her own single fem profile as well, she could probably put a pic up of her shooting someone and still get votes (see what I did there? oooh topical).
I've noticed there certainly is a style that is very popular on there... e.g. public nudity, flashing pics always seem to get a lot of fabs.

Very valid point actually.. personally I like to think I'm quite selective in which pics I fab. I go for well taken images that rarely show everything.. I don't see the appeal in "cameraphone here's my clunge" type images or ones that generally don't have much thought put into them. |

And on that topic, very well lit and composed pics on your profile. I recently tried to take a cock pic as specifically asked by someone, and damn it is tricky to get a good angle whilst waving the camera around at arm's length!

I don't think it was a case of being desperate for attention - simply that the photo in question got well over 200 fabs in under 12 hours which at that time would've got it to page two! However - a few have explained that there appears to be a minimum time spent on fab before you can make hot photos - which would make sense!

I uploaded my current avatar yesterday, it's me currently off work and sick in bed!! And I've made it into the trailing pages of the hot pics which is not something that's happened regularly -- there really is no rhyme or reason! |

Blokes can get on 'Top Fabbed Men' page, and sometimes 150 Fabs is enough to get the top slot. Trouble is; very few women and couples actually Fab male pics in case the owner misconstrues that as a 'come on', and they then risk him bombarding them with pm's asking for meets.....  It's the conclusion I have arrived at (and the subject of another thread in here), and the reason blokes tend to mainly receive Fabs from guys and guys pretending to be women  |

Not regional just on any page. You must have seen someone ask if their pics are okay? Another way is to put it up on a status that they've uploaded new photos. Yes, I've seen both.

Personally I don't mind if people put up a status that they've posted a pic!
What I loathe are the ones who post statuses like 'fab it if you want to fuck it' - or statuses implying that they're permanently horny/playing with themselves when they post pics! Just a tawdry way of getting fabs IMHO! I do think a fab of a pic is a compliment and should be appreciated - but resorting to any means necessary to get them is cheapening I feel! |
