"Back Again" new profiles

I've seen alot of profiles saying "back again" with a new profile asking for people they have met before for verifications. I don't it's right, not sure if other members agree..

I never really understood this myself. Why keep deleting profiles if your taking a break just switch the profile to hidden and come back when ready.

Maybe someone can enlighten me but I don't get it

I think if people start a new relationship with someone out of the swinging scene, they're maybe expected to delete it...

probably they get blocked by people they like.

i used to veri new profiles of my previous meets but stopped doing it because i thought maybe they're up to something shady on here, such as harassing someone who blocked them.

We deleted out old profile whilst Mr was away for a while working, when we came back we put back again (admittedly probably should take that off now) and privately asked one friend to 're verify us but we have also seen them since so they were happy to do so.

Sonetines people need a break or have to take one, and some hide their profiles and some delete and start again, it's what it is

I left but came back quite recently. The negative side of fab got to me and I thought I'd needed it out of my life. Anyway, I missed it all so here I am again with a few re-verifications. It was actually quite good to throw off some old associations and start afresh. Previously I had thought the same as you ladies though I must admit.

I've also deleted Angry Birds from my phone a couple of times, because I got bored.

I also think that people who meet people off site shouldn't verify them on the site... cos it makes people think they are genuine,but clearly only on for chat and not meets, thus being considered timewasters.. and spoils it for other who are genuine on the site...

Why not? Just because they have met off site doesn't make them automatically time wasters or not wanting to meet.

I had my first profile set up by my best friend 3 years ago.

I deleted that original account after about a year.

My needs, desires changed.

Then I found myself back, so yes I did when starting this profile ask for my previous meets to verify me as genuine. I see no harm in it?

So, because I have friends who also swing whom I've known for years it's wrong for them to verify that I am a genuine individual even though I may not have fucked them?

No it shows they are a real person, whether the meet was on here or off. That's all a verification is to show a person is real surely? Whether that be an old friend or a random meet from here.

Surely that would also mean if you may someone in a club without knowing their profile on here you can't verify them as you didn't meet on here. It makes no sense at all.

Most of our verifications are from club meets, so your saying we shouldn't be verified from anyone we have met in a club and visa versa?

In that case half of fab wouldn't be verified be that man, woman, couples, TV/TS as a lot of people use clubs as a meeting place instead of their homes or hotels.

The whole point of a verification for my point of view, is so you can look and see that they are infact genuine?

It's a safety net.

Or, let's look at it this way.

A friend offers you advice on a male or female that you are interested in dating, you have known this friend for a long time, do you dismiss this persons opinions?

Or, it's like buying a car with or without service history.... Which would you go for? (p.s. If it's the latter I'm selling my VW polo with part service history, great runner, no issues....but you'll just need to take my word for that

I don't see that it matters where they have met. All a veri does is prove that they are who they say they are

I promised myself to give up alcohol but rather than leave the bottles in the cupboard I cleared them all away. Sometime later my Cupboard has alcohol and I am drinking. We sometimes seriously decide to give something up, the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

Some people have to delete there account due to stalkers and make new ones it's ok reporting them but they can soon make up new email accounts and rejoin .

Sounds about right. I'll delete if I'm going to be off the site longer than a month or so, it's easy enough to just set up a new profile. Nothing more sinister than that. I've been verified by and verified others who I've met on previous profiles.

I think it's perfectly ok!

For single males especially it's very difficult to get meets without verifications. If people met them and liked them from their previous profile, why shouldn't they verify them again to give them a helping hand? As long as we're not talking several years ago of course - in which case I suggest you'd need to arrange a social to ensure they look like their pics etc!

It's a way for some to keep changing their age. Tend to find most come back with 40 years old as they come up more often within an age range of the search option.

Will be "hiding" our profile next time we decide to take a break. Didn't know this was an option. Easier than re-writing the profile.

Good point. I'd never thought of that.

Most of the time the 'we are back again' is on a profile over a year old, and I just think "Oh, so they don't even bother to update it".

or.. if there is any text about "We know how this works, time wasters stay away" or any other passive aggressive bullshit, then I just think they are drama queens.

I've reverified one or two..but only when theyve given details of our previous meeting that Joe public wouldn't have known.
