so how lng did it take you al to take the plunge and actually have yr first swinging meet after the initial idea came to you?
it was about a year for us, we have just found out our best friends actually swing (we wont meet them as they dont know we do) and she said it took them 4 years.... |

Once I had found this site, there was no holding me! Been here for 8 weeks now and have met 3 cpls who are real friends - way beyond just the sexual side of things. |

Just a few hours. I fell in with a snowbird and a couple of ladies he'd met en route in a bar in Pompano Beach on Hogmanay about 20 years.
During the conversation it became clear they were headed for a local swing club and I was invited along.

thats exactly what screwed us up, we were looking for a girl and used the gumtree sites but the amount of guys pretending to be girls was shocking, we saw through everyone of them thankfully |

our initiation was a trip to Chams after 2 months but only 'soft' swaped for 8 months before we took the plunge and went the whole hog so to speak. Pleased to say we are still very good friends with that same couple who poped our cherry.

You guys are way braver than us as it took us about 3 years to pluck up the courage to visit a club
We discussed swinging and within a month or so, via a Yahoo group, we were lucky enough to meet a very nice couple who gently introduced us to this lifestyle.
We met and played with some lovely folk, as well as having a couple of disasters along the way. We now have regular meets with one special couple and restrict everything else to folk we meet in clubs  |

We just talked the talk for ages using fantasy. Then we actually joined a site about three years ago and had our first meet shortly after. We talked it over a few times... for many years... bedroom talk and all that.
Then when we took the plunge and joined a site.. 4 days we had our first meet!

I went to a swinger weekend in Paignton for my first swinging experience. 10 guys later and I was hooked. Hey that's almost the same as us - we first got the idea after we found close friends were swingers (we still friends with them but don't play). It took us about 15 months from the seed of the idea to actually doing it.
First experience - we met a couple at a local club who chatted us up and took us to their house - where we did full swap same room

we have been on this site for 7 months now,have been to many socials met lots of great friends but still not ready to take the full swap yet,we have attended a swing club but only had fun with each other,the general advice we have been given, is to take our time and enjoy meeting people.We will eventually find the right couple,to be honest i think we need to attend a house party then i think our cherry will be popped!

We thought about it for a while,then decided to go to a club and pull a guy,I saw him walk in and said yes thats the one and 5 mins later was taking him to our hotel
Progressed then to a swingers club and had a great time
then joined a site about 6 months later and had our first meet for a drink after a couple of weeks and a play meet the day after that(which was crap I have to add)

Hubby told me about a couple of sites he had looked at on a Friday evening. We joined 2 sites on Saturday morning & had our first meet that Sunday evening. Never looked back.
Can't understand why it takes some people years to do something they both agree about. No point dipping your toes in, just jump in with both feet & enjoy yourselves xxx |

As a single guy not very long , was a lot easier i think for just me to decide ill give it a go . i met a lovely couple who really introduced me to it . if i was in a relationship i dont know i think i would still like to go through with it but it would really have to be something we both wanted . i have a lot of respect for the couples that do swing think it takes real strength and love in a relationship to do it , so hats off to all you couples . |

It took me about an hour! My friend wanted to try swinging and I accompanied her to The Club in Aberdeen. I took to it like a duck to water..... my friends face when she popped her head round the sling-room door was a picture....myself and several bodies getting it on lol, she was in shock I was a convert. we talked about and put up our profile. Got a meet within a few weeks and just went for not having a clue. But loved and gone back to same guy twice.
