Ladies - out of curiosity how many blokes had you slept with BEFORE swinging, and what do you think is about average?
Fellas - If you were starting a relationship with a woman who isn't a swinger, is there a number of sexual partners that you might think is excessive? |

How old were you when you started?
The reason for the post is because my brother has been chatting to a lass for weeks and looks like there's a nice little relationship going. But earlier today he told me that he doesnt know whether he's gone off her after she announced she has been with 42 blokes.
Now she is 25 and he's 27 and he's been with 13 (I reckon he's telling porkies there but hey ho) so just wondering if that's normal, and if guys would be put off by a certain amount |

I think thats completely between them, if hes not comfortable with it and judges her for it then i doubt itll work. Everyone is different in their approach, as long as shes happy with that and through sharing the number i assume she is then i dont think it should have an influence on the future. Past is the past it cant be changed. And if someone judged me on something like that i would pass them by |

Doesn't bother me at all and any guy who would judge my worthiness as a partner by how many people I'd slept with would not get any more of my time anyway.... and this has happened to me in a roundabout way.
She's still the same girl he was getting to know and enjoying the company of. That shouldn't change in my opinion |

I think my husband was number 26 (only counting full penetrative sex) and we had that conversation on our second date. But he told me on our first date that he had been a swinger (in fact I think he still was and stopped for me). I had just turned thirty went we started dating.

I don't know what the average is but i think it's higher for someone in their twenties these days than it was when i was that age. It is more socially acceptable for a young woman to want and enjoy sex than it was even 20 years ago.
As for me, i don't discuss the actual number with anyone but it is still only in single figures. I might be on a swinging site but I'm not desperate and I'm very choosy |

1) I don't and never have counted - I don't understand the point of it . If I say and thought about it I'm sure I could et the number but I don't really care as it says nothing about me as a person whether i have had sex with five people or 500
2) I have no idea why anyone would ever have this discussion unless you will be happy no matter the answer
3) sleeping with a higher number of people doesn't mean you are desperate or will sleep with anyone - it could just mean you have a high sex drive or swing and enjoy having lots of meets (can still be picky about who they are)

id worry if they'd had only a few partners
i definitely wouldn't consider a relationship with anyone who hadn't had a fair bit of experience...not that im looking for that..and its sounds like its a good job..im obviously not dating material...good for me  |

Erm... five before fab and I've only had sex with one person off here.
