Either you think differently or your life is different
Personally
I'd probably still be stuck in a horrible sexless marriage if I hadn't found fab
I also used to fall for people very easily
But don't anymore

a lot more people are users and narcissistic then i thought. not really changed me at all, i changed and that's how this life style ended up suiting me for a while. |

We've realised that our relationship is a sea of calm while the storm rages around us.
It's made us more open minded and changed our approach to one another. When you offer your partner the world and they still choose you it can only make you stronger.
We are both more confident and more cautious of others.

The positives include, meeting some great people, living out some fantasises & having a fantastic sex life.
The negatives: the bitchiness, gossipers, back stabbing, realising most people are very selfish sexually.
Most of the time we can laugh it off and ignore and still have fun xx |

junglevip666 - i hear you. I would also be in a sexless marriage but I am glad to have found this site. I would like to think I am ready for a full on relationship at some point but having said that.. I do not want our sex life to turn sour as many relationships do. So I may look for someone who would consider an open relationship if sex turned sour. I really dont know.
But I have met some lovely people who I stay in contact with and occasionally meet up with. |

I was in a 23 year relationship ... only man I slept with. He was controlling and a bully and I had no self esteem whatsoever ... wasn't allowed certain make up or ever allowed out. I came into the swinging scene somewhat naively and met a few wrong uns along the way but also some fantastic friends too ... although I still have hang ups about myself my confidence has grown ... I go out and enjoy life and love it !
So yes ... fab has changed me and my life x |

Yeah and not for the better:
If it's too good to be true - don't trust it.
If it has huge tits - don't trust it!
If it can't use more than 3 words -= don't trust it
No picture of other half - don't trust it.
If it communicates through KIK/Whatsapp - don't trust it!!
Its also taught me that the fetish scene is a lot more friendly than the swinging scene with a lot less drama! |

Honestly OP it's hard to say....
I would probably say sometimes it has given me more self confidence then when I was younger as I never used to approach anyone at all...
Now a days hmmm well It's more better then when it was when I was younger but I rarely still approach anyone on here or real life but when the odd occasion comes up and some one is interested I don't shy away as much..
That being said it has probably opened my eyes up as well and at times made me cynical towards people, people are entitled to go for what they wish to on here or in real life I'm okay with that.
But it's just sometimes feels like the same repeated negativity you come across sometimes which just makes you want to keep a complete distance from people altogether sometimes...
that's just my take everyone is different so it's just a case off who you encounter/deal with and when so just hope for the best really.. |

I know that I've changed massively, in some ways good in some ways bad. This journey isn't over yet but through it I've met some lovely people and one awesome person.

Quite surprised at the negativity on some of the posts here, we seem to have been very lucky.
We're fairly experienced (over 10 years now)and could count our bad experiences on one hand, and they were when we started out.
Since we started we are both a lot more confident in our day to day lives but that could also be down to age.
We've also made some amazing friends over the years, had some fantastic nights, and filled the wank bank with enough memories to last 5 lifetimes.

If you were referring to my post as one off the posts with negativity just so you know it was not meant to come across that way more off a blunt answer with some hard truth thrown in..
On the plus side it's important to try remaining optimistic on here or when attending an event arranged through fab or the club scene...

Being on Fabs has actually put me off of sex this last year plus. The amount of tramp talk & nasty pictures I get has just made me think 'Yuck'.
Swinging, on the whole has helped me 'blossom' & let me become myself more.
Saying that...I'm still on here as I like to keep in touch with a couple of folk I've met at clubs |
