Most look nothing like their profile pics so it has to be done

We usually meet in a pub and have a few drinks, allow the flirtation to build up. Then invite him back to our house if it seems appropriate. Subsequent meets might involve dinner at our house, or attending a club together. Either way we always make an evening of it and have a nice time.

Agreed - this is the best way to do so. One needs to break the ice and a quiet drink in a pub/ bar is the best way. Best to meet in neutral place. When I have met directly in a couples house - it can be a bit awkward at first

What about those on here who have , " Not Meeting" or " Social meets only" on there profile , they'll meet you in a pub lead you on , buy your round or 2 or 3 , then sorry your not for us lol too many on here like that , sure meet , coffee unless you all walked/taxied to the pub your all breaking the law and a danger to others!

Depends on the person - their reaction to you and the "tension" of "the moment".
A drink is nice if you need to feel more comfortable as it give you time to chat and get to know each other a bit better.
But on other occasions just get down and dirty as quick as possible. |

First meet is usually a social more times than not, a drink j and a good chat.
If it's a repeat then again, a bit of a chat first before undressing.

I've had both kinds of meetings. Met a couple off here and entered their hotel room, did not even have chance to sit down before being told to strip. On the other hand I met lots of people for socials, meeting them another day for fun. |
