Exactly why we have pretty much given up meeting through this site. You can't really tell anything about a person/couple. Their pics are either 5 years out of date or taken from a REALLY good angle, their personality is nothing like their profile suggests, or you just don't click when you meet. But having done to the trouble of arranging the meet, the other party tends to expect something, particularly if they have travelled to you! Can be pretty awkward!! Far better to meet partners in clubs or bars or pretty much anywhere you can get to know someone a little but before broaching the subject of playing!

Then again i suppose it might of helped if i read their list of interests.
Its not a good idea to meet people who like the things you dont like but then again if they had read my profile they would of known what i like and that it would be pointless meeting me. |

I don't really bother reading verifications before I meet someone since I don't want someone else's opinion affecting mine but if I write one after a meet I might have a read if they display them. So far they've proved pretty accurate. |

Do none of you view the people your interested in hooking up with on webcam first before meeting them for a social or more?
At least that way if their pics are 5 years old you can see how they look now. |

I just use it as a tool for someone for proof that someone has a genuine profile, or has met, and is not just a fantasist, like some can be on here. All veris are positive in nature, so have to be taken with a little pinch of salt |

thats right, chalk and cheese. then again some people can get on with anyone more or less. i think you really need to find out more about the person you are going to meet. |

I only ever meet couples in clubs. Had two bad experiences here with couples who were not like their pics or I liked the lady but not the guy. Best see a couple in a club then you can see if there is a physical attraction |

For what we are looking for on the swing scene, verifications have been vital. Verifications give us an idea if they play with couples in the context that we are looking for. Some guys have only played with single ladies, and therefore are less likely to get the MMF dynamic. Some guys only play in clubs, and again may not want or be able to give us the 'trio' that we like. So we look at verifications to see if the man plays in a similar way to us, with similar minded couples. We don't really have time to go on socials, so we like to have as much information up front. A man can say he is experienced with couples, but he may not be. But if there are verifications saying he has played with couples then it's more likely to be true.

someone I may find funny and witty.. another my find totally different.. for instance best chat with a random guy in a club was about moto gp and cars... i said how interesting he was and funny... but to someone else that would have been like pulling teeth..

I try to write verifications as personalised as possible. Some stuff is fact and can only be fact. Eg I once said a man had the bluest eyes I've ever seen. That statement may be to someone else exaggerated, but it was a fact that his eyes were blue, albeit irrelevant unless someone has a blue eye fettish like me. I've also said that a man is well endowed. I wouldn't say that if it wasn't true, but maybe to some women 8 inches is not big? I think it can be interpreted that the man in question is a good size though. I've described men as being gentlemen if I think they are, though that may be a matter of opinion. I once read 2 verifications on the same man saying he was much better looking than his photos. That persuaded me to meet. And he was gorgeous in person. so I guess those women saw what I saw. |

Ha ha. He's the same one with the very blue eyes and a gentleman. What I did miss out of his verification is that he was a bit overweight! He's not on Fab at the moment otherwise could have been found on our veri list |

Veris are essentially useless in their current form. They are traded, withheld, even used as blackmail by some.  .
There are so many other ways of verifying who you want to meet us genuine, well adjusted and accurately describing themselves. Verifications do none of those things.
A lot of people think they describe the swinging company a profile keeps, but they only display the company the profile wants you to know about.
Getting verified is like a holy grail to the newbies and it is often misused and misunderstood. They are not stepping stones to a wider world of acceptance and free loving. More an annoying inconvenience where you are obliged to display a positive public declaration of your judgement of people you may or may not have fucked and may or may not ever fuck again.
