I thoroughly enjoy making videos, not necessarily being in them though, obviously, I enjoy that too.
I've a few HD cameras & like setting them up, finding the angles to shoot from depending on the action. Making sure the lighting is good, naturally with people on top me people there'll be serious shadows, haha.
A couple of static cameras & one handheld to cover the action & giving lots of options in the editing, my favourite bit. Cutting it together to make a nicely edited finished film.
If it's really worth it, it can be burned onto a DVD with a menu to make a properly finished product.
Only ever keep your private videos/pictures on a memory stick/disc & hide it somewhere in your house. Keep it off line. Noone can hack into it if you keep it in a safe.

Done plenty of photos with lots of partners but very few videos. I think filming is much better with a camera operator otherwise you'll miss most of the action when you try and do too many things at once! |
