Friends Invites

Not sure if it's just me that gets annoyed with this but interested to know others opinions
If someone sends you an friends invite but never actually makes any attempt to message or talk to you...do you add them?
Just find it...not annoying as such...but why do people do it...if they want to be a friend take the time and effort to show it and talk to me, get to know me, dont send me an invite and say nothing.....
Am I alone in thinking this?

drives us to distraction....we also do as puresilk...hee hee....and have a peek before deleting....... but most tend to have NO private pics....so whats the point. One young lady who sent a friend request the other day was very pretty in her profile pic but under our age group (21 year olds dont do it for me)......but as nicky is younger than me and fancied the look of her we sent a nice message to find out a little more about the newbie..........you guessed it......no response....lmao!!! 99.99999% of them are pic collectors we have decided..........  |

Yeah We all get it I'd say I get a bloody stupid wink then invite like hello you've not even spoke yet .Then you get ones that type hi ! Thats it LOL nothing stopping a ban from contact for lack of effort though is there LOL |

I have blocked guys who have done that before.....its a half hearted can't really be arsed attempt to contact someone.....waste of my time n they don't get a reply from me..... |

I am sick of writing long messages only to get no reply so I'll invite you as a friend if you accept perv my pics then I will message you because you'll be interested a little bit at least.
On the flip side when i get friend invites from people who are 200 miles from my location I delete them because we are never gonna meet, unless they convince me that they might be passing by.
I regularly delete friends who make little or no effort with me. I think have a massive friend list proves nothing.
If you only add people you have met how are you ever gonna meet anymore people? The internet is about meeting new people. Ok the majority aren't worth knowing but give us a chance first.... lol.

We have it written in the profile as politely as we can.. and still get at least one or two a day..
Some we ignore and block.. some we reply to lol.. saying a whole load of so sorry we didn't get right back.. its been ages how are you etc etc.. but it was lovely to meet them and we hope we get to play with the other half next time too...

we the same we ask for a message and still get winks and invites, we use to be nice and message them asking them to writeto us with a bit of detail. still get no reply and then they send the invite wink just use the block button now, i think i have blocked six couples this week alone
oh well at least you can do something about it know

i was under the impression that if you received a friends invite it was so you could look into there private gallery so you could see what they looked like and then discover that they have no pics in there but have browsed your so frustrating |

I see what ur saying bout deleting ppl miles away....sometimes I do that too...n i'll go thru my friends list n delete ppl who haven't bn in touch or replied to messages for ages

Requests with silhuette icons get deleted imediately.
As do the ones with no pics of the male in the Public Gallery.
Others we do the same as Silk,most have no Private pics anyway.
We give notice of this in our profile but still get them.

we only have a pic of the two of us holding hands under water in our public pics  but if we make an approach to anyone we always attach a proper pic of us both together and its one taken very recently! |

I got himself to be my profile pin up to start with.... changed it to me....have some public and some private picts.
Had a few invites, accepted those who wrote a script. and have arrange to meet socially with a view to becoming closer friends......What can I do next??

O.K....well you don't have face pics in your Public gallery but thats your choice.
At least you have pics of both of you to give an idea of what your like....which is more than most do.
Assuming you have face pics in your Private gallery, can't see anything your doing wrong.

I think the clue is in the title, "Friends"!!
If you haven't spoken to them in any way, then how do they know anything about you, and therefore how can they request to be your friend?
