"Is it?
Do guy's tend to lose interest once they know it's no longer a challenge?
Once goal is achieved is it a case of, onto the next one? "
Personally, no. |

Depends I guess from one person to another. But for me this is spot on |

This is the type of attitude I try to avoid. That's why a strict vet needs to tale place, I don't want to be somebody's one off, I would rather be their regular |

Many say they're not like this however actions speak louder than words |

Absolutely. I think that chaps who like 'the chase' might be the ones who haven't got the balls to actually meet you!!! |

"I won't lie the chase is good but, like someone previously stated, it all depends on how good the catch is. "
And what if this scenario was reversed, and she was the one feeling less than impressed how would that make you feel?
I do think that this is a big game for some people/guy's and an extension of their lad's pub antics.
Not saying that you are like that, just didn't want to start another post. |

I hold my hand up, I am guilty of this.
The chase is the best part, being curious of what it will be like or having something you shouldn't have (i.e another mans wife) is what brings me here x |

With women I'd agree that this fits me. I can remember when I was pulling in nightclubs I used to pull one woman, then start thinking about pulling another one whilst kissing the first
After leaving a few to many women behind emotionally I have calmed down a little. |

Good point well made, we all have feelings and should do unto others...Im certainly not opposed to the the hunter becoming the prey (to carry on the analogy) but I suppose that if the leg work is done appropriately by all then desires and expectations should be met or surpassed during said chase and ultimate catch. Preparation from all parties is necessary but there are no guarentees of anything in life and certainly not on FAB. |

There is a certain thrill to the chase. You only get the 'firsts' once after all.
But for me the chase isn't the goal, neither is the catch. It's finding someone that's a good sexual match and developing great sexual understanding.
Sex really does get better the better you know someone, and the more comfortable you are together. So although that initial thrill is gone, you're left with something better. |

It's like fishing... go for the 'big one' and when you eventually catch it, you take a pic and put it back in the water and wait a few months, with any luck you may catch it again... only this time it's bigger.
We both prefer regular with just a few, more than one offs with loads of different people. |

"It's like fishing..."
You wonder what the problem is.
Is it the size of my rod? Am I using the right bait? Maybe my tackle needs adjusting?
The whole time you are sitting there completely on your own, looking absolutely fucking ridiculous.
And if any of your mates find out about your pastime you can absolutely guarantee that you are going to get the piss taken out of you.
Welcome to the life of a single bloke on Fab...

psychologically speaking, we want what we can't have (e.g. forbidden fruit), the more something/someone is unattainable the higher the desirability rate. As soon as the person/object is obtained / available the desirability rate drops and we lose interest.
Common rule: the harder something is to obtain the higher the pleasure received when attained. However the easier to lose interest in as the 'chase' out weighs the prize |
