Women who lift are hot and girls at my box (crossfit gym) gave hot bodies !!

Every lift and every exercise makes you stronger. You're experiencing DOMS which is good but don't forget to refuel your body and plan your next session !!

Have to say I do like this as long it's not obsessive or OTT. By this I mean re food and/or gym time. Each to their own, but the latter is not for me.

Sure, I lift. I guess people would say it's obsessive, in that I keep an eye on what I eat and I go to the gym five times a week...

but my mum spends an hour watching soaps each night and follows slimming world and nobody calls that obsessive...

I once read a statement online saying something like

'Dogs like bones, men like meat'

Obviously, this was posted by a *cough* 'curvy' woman, who probably needs to be told that fat isn't meat, but otherwise the statement is true, a little muscle definition on a woman is beautiful x

1. You don't have a pot belly

2. Abs are all about diet, you could do 1000 sit ups a day but if you don't eat clean you will not get abs x

I do admit my diet isn't great, I'm a single mum who works full time, I tend to live on coffee, can't face breakfast in the morning and I normally only eat once a day, I actually have a small appetite, bread is my downfall everything gets put into a sandwich :-/

I go to the gym twice a week . I bench press as one of my strengh exercises . Dont have muscles as such but certainly feel fitter which is why i go .

Not not at all a six pack is achievable by anyone it's made in.the kitchen not the gym no amount of sit ups or planks will help I if you cant see the muscle lots of training and a high protein diet of a 40:30:30 protein:cards:fat split will soon get those abs om show I prob only do sit ups once every two weeks and planks I have prob only dome them once in my life!!!,,, xx

If they have higher levels of testosterone than most women then they may get big for a woman but they will never reach the muscular size of men, it's just the way it is

I've never taken steroids and used to compete in a tested federation as a powerlifter. I'm just under 15 stone, have lifted heavy for 27 years and can bench 130kg and squat and deadlift 200kg. Women can get strong if they train hard without the use of drugs but there is a certain amount genetics play in it also.

True, my body fat is 25% which for my age and weight is, I think, quite low. Most of my fat is at my waist and hips, the usual places for middle aged women but if I lost that, I'd still have my shoulder and arm size as essentially, they're quite muscular.

Actually I used to powerlift in the under 48kg category. It's perfectly possible to be strong and not fat when you're female. When you're competing in the lower weight categories it's all about muscle and not fat. And I was pretty bulky for my size.
