Xxx" Find a good body piercer and they'll talk you through it, but in a nutshell they'll say... there are two types of headaches and the daith piercing only helps with one type (there's stress or muscular headaches, and I can't for the life in me remember which one it can help with) I used to suffer massively with severe migraines and have done for over twenty years, to the point where I used to have put ice packs on the back of my neck and spend the evening in a dark room (I've also been known to cry uncontrollably and bang my head against doors and walls out of sheer frustration) the longest I remember a migraine lasting was about 4 weeks, the worst one I've had caused me to black out completely (although this has only ever happened once) I've had my daith pierced now for about 3 months and touch wood I've not had a migraine once since having it done, I still get the odd headache but they are very minor and if I pull or press on my daith piercing they do fade. It doesn't work for everyone and some people need to have both sides done, I'm planning to get the other side done then hopefully I'll never get an headache ever again ess.
