If someone drew up a document that stated it was a legally binding and lawful document and I was signing my partner to another man and if I did add our names and sign it, would it have any legal standing really, does anyone know, I did it and signed it! So!!! |

Nope, slavery is kinda illegal last I checked.
A contract for services could exist, the nature would have to be carefully worded.
If said person is your wife rather than partner, that's a different kettle of fish. |

A contract is not legally binding if it requires either party to carry out an illegal or immoral act.
Slavery is illegal.
Just between you, make any promise you like. The contract is just symbolic.
I assume all three of you will enjoy this |

Any legal contract has to be drawn up by a qualified person and witnessed. And as has been said this contract would be illegal so I really wouldn't concern yourself. The bigger question is what the hell was going through your mind when you signed it in the first place? |

If I recall correctly, slavery was made illegal quite some time ago:
Only person who can sign a contract concerning themselves is the person themself, unless they have given a power of attorney or have been sectioned.
Have you had your wife sectioned? |

No, not legally binding. In broad terms, for a contract to be legally binding there needs to be offer, acceptance, intention to form a legal relationship and consideration. There are other bits and bobs, especially concerning contracts for what can be deemed personal service contracts. However, this would be laughed out of court. |

Hey Guys, perhaps I didn't consider my wording in 1st post properly, More than anything else I signed away my own rights and access to my partner, so it wasn't so much as signing her away as excluding myself completely, I don't know if I'm getting into deeper water here or not! |
