Are people mad. Has aids gone away? From Terence Higgins site In the UK, it has been estimated that 103,700 people were living with HIV at the end of 2014, of whom 17% did not know they had HIV. HIV in the UK affects some communities more than others. Of those living with HIV, 45,000 were gay men and 54,100 had been infected through heterosexual sex. |

Plenty of people do. Was with my partner once on a couples night.. about 5 couples.. we assumed they all knew each other as not a condom in site.
Asked afterwards and nope... they had all met that night... seen it loads in clubs... but you do what your happy with and assume everyone else is playing bare x |

"Okay then, how many of you have done bareback with a one night stand?"
Pretty much everyone surely at some point. I have, the Mrs has.
Most people probably did daft things when younger |

"keep hammering away with this message - there is too much bb going on. "
Why?
People are free to make their own choices, hammering a message won't change their minds.
Look after ones own sexual health and leave others to theirs. |

I choose to play safer.... but i know i still take risks because i have multiple partners and dont and wouldn't ever use condoms for oral... but what does it matter if others are bb. I assume everyone i meet is and get myself tested regularly |

Although I don't advocate unprotected sex or engage in the activity the statistics suggest it is only once in every nine hundred times of engaging in intercourse with an infected person that the virus is actually transmitted to an uninfected person.
It's not as bad as people think.
That risk is still there though and not worth it for us. We can bareback with each other and condoms are not that bad if you get the right condom for you. |

Fair point.
I think a better comparison would be filling up a bucket full of syringes and have one or two infected with a disease.
Stuck a some money in the bottom give the bucket a shake up and get people to delve hand's in for the prize.
It's only a matter of pot luck if you get stuck with the infected needle.
However do the same with the correct gloves and u can dip in and out without risk. |

Only if we can play Romanian Blackjack.
Statistically, the chances of getting blackjack are 13854:1 |

"Okay then, how many of you have done bareback with a one night stand?" id say most people have got lost in the moment at least once. Just look at how many morning after pills are issued and thats just those not on another form of contraception..
While i personally wouldnt do it on here... i dont see why the vile treatment of something legal and natural and something between consenting adults.. |

"Didn't really aspect this reaction! Only really wanted a "yes or no" with a line or two "
No OP I wouldn't, although I love the feeling of bb for me the risks associated just don't make it worth it. However I don't judge anyone who chooses to bb with other people, entirely up to the individual |

"I have.....was with my husband but it does still count as bareback in a club
"
We have done this too so technically yes. would never do it with anyone else tho. We been together for 11 years now and feel it's right together.. Why would we want to spoil what we have for a silly mistake with a stranger in a club? |

Ignorance is bliss!! The problem doesn't just stem with HIV there are a number of STI's and some we don't even know we already have!! With some causing forms of cervical cancer!! That are proven not just by statistics on a piece of paper but scientific proof!! Now we can all just ignore the warnings and carry on and spread lovely infections to everybody else, Or maybe just maybe we might just take note of the dangers involved and be responsible of our own actions. Also I just like to add the phrase "Bugchaser" If you haven't heard about it before look it up! I'm sure You'll change your mind about bareback parties after reading about it. |

The problem is I like the idea of bareback, but in a club if someone's willing to play bareback with me I put a condom on because they probably bareback with everyone else!
I know, my feelings are paradoxical lol |

Even with gloves there would still be a risk, condoms aren't 100% safe are they, you're practising safer sex if you use them obviously but nothing is risk free |

I have seen plenty of it in various clubs, entirely their choice, but no from me.
Saw a guy recently go from one TV, onto a guy, then back onto a woman...tried with me, but just wasn't having any of it.
Again, their choice. |

yeh hetero's have the biggest transmission rates now.
I love bareback though, have done for years and never had a single STI thankfully even at my ripe ol' age. Sometimes it's not what you do it's who and how many you do it with. |

Does a vasectomy suddenly protect you from STDs as well as pregnancy
Each to their own - only Paul gets to feel me flesh on flesh I know where he's been |
