Hi there..
I have recently started to call myself poly when it comes to describing my love life, friends/family etc..
I get great joy in telling them and potential new partners that to be in a society where loving people want to have fun, without any discrimination exists, is a great world..
Obv I have had people who dont understand/dont want to understand either..
Anybody had any good feedback from doing the same?

From my perspective, I can never be physically monogamous again - ever. Emotionally yes, can be one man's woman but there was a phase in my life when I had deep feelings for two men and had the circumstances been right, moving in with both men in the same house would have been a real possibility. You have to separate polygamy from swinging. A man loving three women is different from a man loving one but fucking the other two. |

I could in my view quite happily love one woman and her alone but after being swinging for so long it's part of me now and I'd need a partner that was into that with me |

My wife and I both identify as poly, and I am currently in three relationships....our 18 year marriage, a girlfriend of 7 years and a new partner I began seeing this spring.
We do casual sex as well.
There are lots of helpful books, websites and likely a poly social group in your area. I run a popular London group with regularly 50+ of us meeting
