As a couple with very limited childcare opportunities and work commitments we have never had the chance to go to a club. Unfortunately this seems to mean that most couples won't even consider meeting us or we just get the reply of "we're going to a club, meet us there". Does anyone else have this problem? |

No but we're the type of couple that would say that to you! Far too many timewasters and crazies to do too many 2 on 2 meets. Some clubs are open during the day you know. |

We understand that but hubby works daytimes and I work shifts so only get daytimes off together during school holidays. Oh well, thanks for the reply. Might have to rethink. |

plus clubs are a nice neutral venue....
if you all get along... you have places to play!,
if it doesn't work for any reason there are always other people you may be interested in and you can chat and find that out...... |

You have verifications so that's a good thing, at least people will be reasonable sure you'd turn up. The nicer thing about clubs is that it you turn someone down then you haven't ruined their night. |

We understand OP totally with things outside of fab being busy daytime is not an option for use at all ,we find most difficult thing is to find another couple we both find attractive,as nearest club to us is hour and half away and don't like to leave kids and travel great distances |

We have had a handful of couples meets and do prefer to have a social evening first before any playing so there is no pressure to meet again unless we all want to. We're just getting a bit fed up of playing alone but do understand that most couples prefer clubs. |

we chat to a lot that like you and ourselves work shifts and have other reasons to make meeting up difficult - its a matter of matching diaries and if it takes months so be it - the people that happy to wait are usually worth the wait - we go to clubs if when we are free and nobody else is - its a great place to meet up |

We do try and I think the next child free weekend we can arrange when I'm not working is in January  Maybe just have to stick to singles fun then  |

Yes, we have trouble. I have a child 6 days a week, and her day at her dads varies, and my partner has a child who we have Friday and Saturday nights. We really struggle to find meets. This week we had our first Friday to ourselves in 13 months, and still no luck! We don't live near a club either. We're hoping to meet a couple this week for some fun though, fingers crossed! |
