And you are right, both are parents choosing to allow their children to be mutilated for no real reason. I can't understand how a parent could look at their child and decide that they deserve such pain and body disfigurement. Even if the child is lucky and the pain is only temporary, it's still totally unnecessary pain they are accepting to put their child through 
The sooner both practices are banned (with male circumcision only allowed when medically necessary) the better. |
