Ok so we only meet with single guys who are bi, says so on the profile.
We get messages from guys, look on their profile and it says straight. Message them back up say we only meet with bi guys, then they tell us they are bi......#confusing
Why would you put straight if you identify as bi? |

But we tell everyone who's Bi but Straight (or is it Straight but Bi) we only play with open Bi guys.

The only thing i can think of is they want to keep it secret, and says straight on their profile in case their cover is blown either with work or with family etc.  |

There are many couples that won't meet bi-guys (think the male halves are scared of being raped or something), many guys who are happy to play either way will therefore put straight and then tell bi couples that they are bi - usually truthfully. Because it's so difficult for single guys on this site anyway I think many are just trying to maximise their chances of getting a meet! |

This is just it - we want open bi guys, and we want it to be ok for people who are bi to be able to put it on their profile without fear of judgement. What annoys me is that it this problem doesn't seem to happen as much with ladies...
I think fab/society in general has some work to do on this front...

The problem is.. bi guys are looked down on as disgusting (yup,even though it's 2016) and the bi females are looked upon as perfection.
So the 'fab' straight guys try their luck with bi couples, saying they like a bit of sucking etc....
Had this a thousand times with messages!
If you want m2m play, then ffs put it on your profile and be open about it....so what if it limits your chances of a female meet on here, if they are that shallow, then they are not worth meeting in the first place. |

People are terrified of being labelled bi. . Its amazing and they are in complete denial.

^^ This. We tend to meet only at clubs on a dedicated bi night these days. Despite our profile asking for no straight men, we are inundated with messages from 'straight' guys professing to be bi. Not our thing. We really enjoy messy tangles where who the hand or mouth belongs to doesn't matter as long as it feels fabulous. Picky doesn't even start to describe us! |

Society looks down on bi men. Supposedly open minded people call them names and look down on them.
Some bi men can't admit their sexuality to themselves. I don't blame them.  |

And some are just chancers as others have said. We have met guys who say straight on their profile and then message and without any prompting say they are bi. But when it comes to it only relate to Jayne and treat the meet as if I'm not there at all.  |

This has been done to death on Fab and on the forums . The only way to sort it out us for Fab to get with the times and introduce filters where you can block men with " straight" profiles contacting you. It's a pain it takes up 90 percent of our messages where " straight " profiles claim to be various degrees of bi in messages for whatever reason.
We will only meet - and check that it stays bi as we can never meet off the cuff - from a profile that states it is bi from the outset .
We don't even want to get onto the other messages asking if we two girls want to meet alone without our chap present or the : " why are you two girls living with a poof ? You should both meet a real man who will destroy you like I would " etc etc. it gets on our tits small ones as they are ! |

Sorry if this is a repeat post. I like what you say about being about to search and filter fully on sexuality. It would be great to be able to search for couples where both are bi/bicurious, or where only the male or female is - it would make it easier to set up different scenarios or meets. Also being about to block straight guys would make life easier.
If anyone else would like this sort of functionality pm me so we can organise some sort of collaborative pitch to fab.  |

Advanced search already has the option to search for couples 'where both are bi'.
Admin said hat because people have either person 1 or person 2 as the woman/ man they can't update the search to e.g. just look for men that are bi. |

a lot of men are only bi when there's a woman present as well. the idea of only being with a guy puts them off, and if they have bi on their profile then only men message them anyway.
but because of the above some of the gay/bi guys do message them anyway knowing a lot of bi guys put straight on their profile. |

Speaking of sexuality, I'm bi and openly so, but my gender is female. I'm in the process of modifying my body and awaiting the operation to construct a vagina for me. However admin do not reckon this is important and so continue to put TS/TV as a sexuality. Like many of you I won't meet guys with straight on their profile, and I now have a male openly bi fella as my partner. Yes we met through here, and we have an open relationship in which we both play safely away from each other. The equality act was passed some time ago now yet the website refuses to update the genders to include TS woman or man. If you think bus have it bad then please understand that it is harder for women like me. I'm out in the community and unusually for a TS woman in full employment in a large retail chain. I've friends who are all 4 sexualities and cherish them all. I'm quite well verified so genuine and sane, I would meet straight guys but feel it would be betraying my roots pre transistion. I've always had utmost respect for bi folk no matter what their gender. I can only hope that those with narrow minds but a supposedly liberal attitude only get what they deserve, is nothing.
