Stretched Ears / Flesh Tunnels

So in the wonderful world that is Fab what's peoples opinion on Stretched Ears / Flesh Tunnels?

Is it like the whole beard n tattoo thing where people either love them or hate them? like Marmite if you will (which is vile by the way lol )

I've had both my ears stretched now for many years n don't even think about it anymore but Ladies what are you thoughts? Can they be off putting?

I'm not a fan of them. A guy I know (and no I don't shag him) has quite large gauge stretches...coupled with his flaky scalp and flakes sitting in the rings it's put me off them for life. Turns my stomach just thinking about it.

Fair Do's, yeah you do have to take care of them, I wear silicone tunnels in mine and I clean them on regular basis too

I know this was too the women, but not a fan of stretchers on men or women but love the whole tattooed, crazy hair and piercings look overall

I have 24 and 14mm tunnels in my left lobe and a 13mm tunnel in the shell of my right ear amongst various other piercings.

I have found that on here people either like them or they don't but what I object to is the negative assumption that if you have them then your hygeine is poor as mine are always scrupulously clean.

From various experiences have found them to be a good talking point in clubs and a good ice breaker as people often ask what else I have done.

I like them in moderation, once they get too big I just worry they might get ripped and that's not sexy

I also keep mine incredibly clean

I've found wearing the silicone ones there's no smell at all! Years ago I wore the metal surgical steel ones there not so good :-/

I can't see anything attractive about stretched lobes, but it's more part of an overall image I guess. I've never liked it though.

The lobes...I hasten to add! As I'm tattooed it wouldn't make sense if I didn't like that style. Marmite though, disgusting.

Bit of a mixed bag on this one and this is from years of seeing it.

I'm all for body mods, ink etc but after years if discussion from people across the Punk, Goth/Batcave, Alternative scenes and even in general - it's not really celebrated. But each to their own.

I know several people who pushed it as far as they were willing to go with it and they all wished they'd never started.

Saying that - I was doing a DJ set at Whitby Goth Fringe Weekend a couple of years ago and there was one girl who had pushed it to the limits. Very attractive but too over stretched. Her tunnels could only be compared to an anal prolapse.

Marmite yes. Stretched lobes? No, it reminds me of guys who get their cock heads sliced in half. Tats and piercings yes. Anything else no ways.
