It's a site where one can find long term friends one has sex with,or one off sex with someone one fancies. If you want actual swinging I suggest you take a partner to a swingers club and socialise. |

Why label it at all? Its a life style choice to be on this and other sites of a similar nature.
Horses for course as in married or partnered seeking extra marital fun with consent partnered couples seeking consenting recreational sex singles who seek friendship and sex and those seeking lurrve.

As a single person,I see no difference in me attending a club,talking to a man at the bar,then going off to a private room to have sex,than talking to someone on here,going for a drink and going to a hotel or his for sex. Going to a club doesn't make me a swinger,neither does having sex with married couples. |

Depends who you are and how you use it.
Different people want different things and operate in very different ways.
If you can accept people using it differently for what they want it shouldn't bother you too much.
The diffuculty comes as the volume of people grows, all the different types of people need to be able to differentiate themselves. That might become more and more time consuming.

The whole internet seems to have gradually evolved into a mess of people who are generally unfeeling and disrespectful. And that very much includes sex pests, mostly men who seem to feel entitled to sex and to lash out when they don't get it.
Fab Swingers is supposed to be a swingers site, and that can encompass a lot of activities both sexual and social. People into swinging have various sexual and fetish interests in many cases and that's all well and good. Fab isn't really a sex site, but a lot of people (mostly men) joining in the last year or so seem to think of it as such. |

Exactly. The definition of "swinging" has evolved down the years and doesn't seem to be set in stone. Different sources will still give different definitions but the general gist is that "swinging" in some way involves recreational sex with person/people outside of a committed relationship.
Some people enjoy a social side while others prefer to get down to business. What is not generally acceptable is disrespectful attitudes. |

For me I think if you just want sex, you can get that anywhere. I come here for more intense sexual experiences and to do things normally frowned upon after a regular first date.
