So they can arrange a meet as a couple but then the male keeps making silly excuses when female femle want to talk.. "She is busy... shy...gone to work" etc then hoping he can pull out a meet and at last minute say wife cancelled and was ill.. some people will try all tricks to get their end away |

To get to couples that have single males blocked, they can then if good at it get friended to look at friend only pics, or go to kik whatever to share pics bids that they say are them..
Now we are more attune to them & are veried fewer try it, but when we first came on i'd say 30% that contacted were fakes..

i don't no why people pretend to be what there now ' i'm a single man and i'd say lots of single men give the rest of us a bad name as there so pushy ' nothing gets me like people turning up and there nothing like there picture or profile .

I did too when I was on here as a couple. Allowed it to happen just once.. then it was an instant block of we heard the same lame excuses.

I once went on a different site as a man once. I wanted to see what a single man's experience was.
And before the comments start here, I in no way led anyone on, flirted, or asked for anything from anyone. I was simply friendly.
Strange thing happened. For all the complaints I had heard there, as a woman, about how hard it was as a single man, I had several pms from women within a short time (hours) and an invitation for drinks as well.
As per the original question here, other than for curiosity, no idea why anyone would do it. You can't exactly meet people, so where's the fun? |

we have had the same on holiday in Cyprus single women on profile couple of photos texting for about one hour than ask for our number so she can call and speak to the wife when phone rang I answered it the voice was low but new it was a man. |

Not read all the thread so sorry if we're repeating anything...
Our policy now is if a woman or couple have been members for more than a couple of weeks and haven't been at least photo verified then it's just a sad guy pretending. Sounds harsh but works for us.
Why can't fab insist on photo verication after initial few days etc? Simples.
We know there are some cunning bastards out there who could probably fake photo verify as woman and couples but would probably do away with 95% of the ass-hats. |

They play the maybe game.
What they do is pretend to be a couple. Then if they get a meet with a couple on the day of the meet they wil claim the wife is ill and hope the couple will meet him alone. |

Because they don't get anywhere with their profile as a single guy and think pretending to be a couple or single gem will get the attention they require. It has become easy spotting fake profiles as we have experienced so many of them over the years. |

We actually had this one too. Both in the first week on fab. Thankfully things have improved since that. Now it's just block and delete.  |
