i have naff ones, as in badly done, but the majority are well done. it happens that i've been having tattoos for over 20 years and not just had them because it's fashionable now.

i personally like crappy tattoos for their story, not that someone died or something but that people had a mate who wanted to ge tinto it and they let them pratice on them, something like that.

i personally find the unoriginal but well done tats naff. like someone had a themed sleeve similar to what is in trend. ugh,

have tats but pick stuff you genuinely like and not just copy other peoples ideas.

I get what your saying, I only have a few, but they all tell a story so not going to judge anyone for having a less than perfect tattoo, one of mine has lost clarity due to yoyo dieting, one is just difficult to tell exactly what it is as it's a sillouete and the other I like it so couldn't care less what anyone else thinks

Mine my be classed by others as naff but I've had them 25 years now.

I got them for me before tattoos were fashionable.. One I managed to take the scab off the day it was done..

The other freehand and not that good but you learn.

i think its funny on shows like tatto fixers when people say, "I bought this tattoo machine on ebay and then did this myself"

exactly.

id actually find it interesting to look at your misshapen tattoo to see how it is affected, i'd even learn something from that so that's a bonus.

It's the face mainly, but it's on my back so I can't see it anyway to be bothered by it and I'd be glad too

I know people love tats, but seeing yet another meat head, voicing bland opinions about how their football team did last night, learned from the commentator, word for word, with stars, or a Celtic band or one or another of the default no personality, no life tattoos just makes me wonder how soulless they are.

I think tattoos are just a conversational starter

I get so many guys coming upto me saying they like my tattoos and start talking when I'm sure they don't they just use it as a excuse to talk

Which is a waste of time with me because I really can't think if a more boring bloody topic which don't last long with me

This! Oh God yes, this. It seems to be the go-to conversation for people desperate to seem cool to a complete stranger. And it's always the same conversation, you've either got;

Where did you get them done?

How much did all that cost?

I really want one but I'm too scared/don't know what to get/can't find a design with the absolute perfect shade of fuschia, and it's got to be perfect.

I've got a tattoo as well, here have a look.

It can be seriously tedious. I mean, it wouldn't be so bad if it was a nice young lady looking for an icebreaker, but it never is...
