Having enjoyed a wonderful weekend of debauchery at BGHS, during the day, both Saturday and Sunday, I am shocked that I appear to be the only solitary female in there over each 4 hour visit!
Not that I'm complaining of course, but find it hard to understand how I can be the only horny woman in Brighton and surrounding areas!!!?? (Books herself in to sex addiction clinic...)
Met some genuinely nice men, and had some very interesting conversations, among other things.... |

Used to attend here when I lived in Brighton, great facilities but not many females/couples attend unless its a couples night. If a female/couple does turn up they are usually followed by the zombies wherever they go. |

I go on my own quite regularly, but do prefer to team up with a buddy and have a good catch up whilst floating around in the pools. I would go more regularly alone if the cost was cheaper - at £21 entrance plus £4 parking plus a few quid on drinks, it's not cheap. But the facilities are second to none and I adore it there. Only ever had problems from guys overstepping the mark on one or two occasions and the staff were quick to deal with it (they know me well). |

Exactly this have been twice and even when I've been with a male friend still had this happen if I'm honest it put me off from ever going again. |

"I've been giving some thought to going there, but wouldn't want to be the creepy single guy.

You would only be a creepy single guy if you followed people around, cock in hand, and made a pest out of yourself (banging on doors etc). Enjoying the spa facilities and politely chatting is absolutely fine! A lot of guys go to bghs thinking that it's some kind of brothel and its those types that aren't welcomed. |

I've been a regular to BGHS for about 10 years, seen the odd single female but it's rare and they're not necessarily there to play either. I've said elsewhere, my regular Friday evening has become quite boring recently because there are so few ladies and those there as part of a couple don't play or only behind a door. I don't always go looking for that, I like to use the facilities, but the atmosphere is much better when there is a decent mix in. I've decided not to go on Fridays anymore but stick to couples evenings when I have a companion, or will be trying other weeknights when going alone. |

What's interesting is, on the contrary, going to Zuiver in Amsterdam recently, it was about two-thirds women and of all ages, with about 200 people there in total. No play rooms there, its just a spa (but a hell of a spa at that!) but it goes to show the cultural difference and how far we still have to go (zombies etc don't help!) |
