Best time of the day to send a message

Is there a better time in the day to send a message to somebody? There must be peak times when you ladies get bombarded with 100s of blokes saying "hi" so potentially some of the good guys (aka me) could fall under the radar. Any thoughts?

No, it's a pretty constant flow really....maybe try using capital letters for your HI message?

It is really hard to judge. As a single mail my inbox is being destroyed on a regular basis.

Perhaps the best time might be when the recipient is online. I have no empirical data to back this up.

I get a lot of messages between 8.30-6...

Quite a few of them saying along the lines of 'I'm working in your area today' ... Or ... 'Are you putting the kettle on'.

It is Boring and gets deleted in most cases..

Maybe it's not the time of day that's as important as the message content . Try it at different times experiment, .

Yep, best write a message the size of war & peace and then get ignored, 3am being the optimum time for that.....

Try and be creative in the subject field of your message, then with more than just 4 words in the content field. No need for war and piece, but something more than 'Hi, how are you?'

Referring to something that is on your recipients profile can only help too

The best time is whenever you can send a decent message. After all, it only gets read when the recipient is online.

The kettle one made me chuckle. Did it work on you?
