I hide when I'm taking a break from meeting but I still use the forums firing that time so if there's a thread asking for profile advice I will give it, hidden or not my advice would be the same so what does it really matter? |

Could apply that logic to most threads on here. Those that have age limits moaning about others age limits because it excludes them.
People who only meet certain body types yet complain if someone prefers a body type that excludes them. |

Depends on the context of what you mean by slagging off OP. Sometimes my profile is hidden but I might look at another members on here, and pass comment if it is relevant to something they have posted. Or as a previous poster says if they have asked for advice, give opinion. That's not slagging off. |
